To think Catherine Tyldesley is a CF - cakegate

I can’t help but feel that when you’re in a position of privilege and a celeb of any description, you shouldn’t by asking small independent businesses for free shit...

But, if you do, at least own it. The video of her belittling “the cake lady” really shows what a tramp she actually is.

Just read Catherine has canceled her 40th birthday party due to the “backlash”. Presumably that means she really didn’t want to pay for any of it herself. Lovely

She is several weeks late to be doing that. It screams 'I want attention again' now everyone has forgotten about it and moved on.

Or she is hoping to get the sympathy act with a bunch of companies suddenly wanting to provide free stuff to prove that not everybody would be unhappy like 'the cake lady'.

It's a weird move PR-wise. Contradicts her statement denying they were organising her party on her behalf and then brings the whole embarrassing affair back into the news.

Did she deny they were organising a party, I thought she had just denied the knowledge of NVRLND begging of free for her?

Either way, I did think at the time the whole party would be a bit of a bad taste after the whole debacle.

Pretty sure that as part of denying NVRLND scrounging on her behalf, she denied there ever was a party like 'why would I need a cake, I'm not having a party'...

Someone needs to take her shovel away, and just leave her in the hole really.
