Murdoch and his Fox 'News' is mainly responsible for the rise of Donald Trump as a politician. Trump damn near became dictator of the US in 2021. I doubt Murdoch will end up in Hell as the devil won't want him - he'd end up ruling the joint.

But if you are a national newspaper and two people come to you with a disturbing story about their vulnerable, drug addicted teenager and a very famous bloke who reads the news every night - what are you going to do? They sell papers, they are not an advice centre for celebrities.

If The Sun hadn’t broken that story someone else would have. If you’re famous people want to make money out of you, that’s the deal and Huw knew the risks.

Jesus, what an absolute load of bollocks. It would appear that non of the story about HE is fabricated as more has come out since the 6pm news. At any one time you could say 1 news story is being amplified to drown out another. Saying it doesn't make it true though.

All of these things are capable of being simultaneously true:

~ HE has done nothing contrary to criminal law
~ HE has paid significant amounts of money to an older teenager/adult for sexual images which rightly raises questions about his moral integrity
~ a young man who may be a crack addict might not be the best judge of whether he's been exploited by an older man
~ parents of a young man who has developed a relationship with a very famous man may have seen an opportunity to make money off the back of a story that is guaranteed to capture the public interest
~The Sun and Rupert Murdoch are morally reprehensible right wing arseholes.

Rachel Johnson has said that Murdoch asked BoJo to get rid of the BBC when he was PM. He doesn't like being held to higher standards of journalism and not being the top dog. This whole farago has been aimed at smearing the BBC. Nothing to do with any of the individuals involved. The Sun has shown time and again that it doesn't care about facts.
