The allegations are 100% true.

I'd like proof as well.

The police are not prosecuting, so how do you know better?

A selfie of Huw staring into the camera, flashing his naked arse with his pants round his ankles, has been leaked recently as well. It's all coming out now.

I watched a 2 minute tik tok video of Huw today talking about tbe allegations in a studio.
Have a look at the Martin Lewis interview.

Technology is amazing.

OMG he announced the Queen's death FFS 😞

I don't understand this. Why does that make him so revered?

This is why people like him think they can't get away with it the first place, people put him up on a pedestal for doing his job.

People wanted him to get a Knighthood FFS! For saying 'the queen died' with a serious face 🙄

How 3 allegations of messaging are believed and discussed while a woman saying her husband is effectively sectioned is dismissed says it all about modern day social media.

Adam Boulton on Sky tonight has said there has been no denial from HE or his wife and he then went on to quote the Director General of the BBC says it is in the public interest to investigate.

PurplePansy05 · 12/07/2023 23:12

If the police and the BBC investigated this promptly and comprehensively straight away, none of this media circus which also affected a number of other presenters would have happened. Much of the public speculation and strong reactions would have been avoided too. Nobody comes out of this looking great tbh.

The BBC has not covered itself in glory in how they've handled this they've hung out everyone to dry including HE's wife and children(who've done nothing wrong), HE's alleged victims and HE himself and are seemingly happy to put it as a more important news story than a war. Yet they knew about this since May.

I really wonder why the BBC exists any more, this level of reporting and conduct could be found in any number of commercial news organisations.

Plus they covered up for Savile.

Interesting how employees only felt they could come forward once this was public. That says a lot, none of it good for the BBC.

From what we know this situation is more like Dave the manager who thinks he is rather special and deserved to be treated as such, rather than anything close to Saville.

So far from the information we know this person has been accused of being a a creep around the office, using SM for dating outside their marriage, making some staff members being uncomfortable with over unsolicited familiarity, and acting aggressively when they are threatened with being found out. So far you pretty bog standard behaviour from your garden variety office bully.

I have worked in a few big organisations and it is reasonably standard to find 1 or 2 knobheads that makes everyone who works below them feel uncomfortable and project a shining light to those who are in charge of their salary. It is not a hard stretch to think that an organisation such as the BBC would have a more than skewed proportion of these knobheads.

As a whole society, needs to get better recognising these people and having a better way to deal with this behaviour. Anonymous 360 feedback forms are ususally a good start and I knew someone who when contracted out their bullying and coflicts to an outside organisation had a 300% increase in reports and 1 even ended in prosecution, the people in power had no idea and the even though everyone else knew they were too intimated by this person to report it.

It must be something I've just not seen anywhere. But then, having said that, I've not really been looking, and it's only whatever Sky News has been reporting.

My living under a rock is officially over.

I hadn’t seen/heard anything either and nor had the large group of parents i was with when I heard! I like living under a rock sometimes.

He clearly wasn't asking children for sexual pictures as that would be criminal and two police forces have said there is no evidence of a crime

I'm reporting your comment

Try as I might I cant find the relevance to anything I said.

I havent commented on huws innocence or otherwise as I dont have tne evidence. What I have said is that lies and technology can be edited, that nobody owes the public anything just because be reads the news, and that tbe comments about his wife lying about his mental health are sickening.

I must be the only person who doesn't care. The whole thing has been an absolute shit show from start to finish. He's not even been charged with anything.

I'm polishing your medal for you.

Prize for: Only Caring Just Enough to Announce it to Everyone

Willyoujustbequiet · 12/07/2023 23:14

Sky have just said in the papers slot that there are new allegations tonight from 3 members of BBC staff themselves.

Entitlement and self absorption.

MissTrip82 · 12/07/2023 23:15

I wondered where all the people who fell over themselves to disparage the victims, as they do every single time allegations relating to women or children arise, would be. Needn’t have bothered, they’re right here. Downplaying, minimising, casting aspersions on the victims and their families, showing an admirable and previously unheard of dedication to a legal maxim that has no relevance here…..amazing.

Each of these people is the reason women and children don’t come foreword. They are disgusting.

I can count the posts mentioning the victim on less than one hand.

Do your thoughts extend to his wife who has been accused of lying about his mental health? Or HIS children having to read about their 'dirty pisspants father's?

The 'this is why people dont come forward line is tedious.

Especially as the victim themselves has dismissed the claims. Or.do they not.get a voice?

Your points are valid, but it is believed that those involved were male.

I didn't say she was lying.

You said why are the messages being believed and I simply pointed out that Adam Boulton said tonight there has been no denial whatsoever ( despite the statement) and therefore the DG wants to investigate.

One victim. There were 3 other people earlier and now apparently tonight a further 3

*was accused publicly on social media without any evidence. Cant think why that might push a man over the edge.
