Been seeing ExDP for the past nine months. He hates the thought of me being with anyone else. Today he has asked me if I have slept with anyone else, because the last time we had sex I "felt different". Is this even a thing? Wtf?!

I have ended things. It was difficult but I've done it, he's blocked. Made it clear it's very much over.

We do get on well, have great times etc. but I've realised that's not enough. I'm wasting my time with someone I know will never be right for me.

I think I must have low self-esteem, even though I don't feel as if I do. Most of the things he has done I am far too ashamed to ever admit on here. The things I have put up with are deeply embarrassing for me. Perhaps I need therapy.

I already have DC and doubt I'll have any more, to respond to the posters saying I will have multiple children with him and the taxpayer will be financing us. I work very hard. It seems you think only a certain demographic deal with domestic abuse.

Don't be embarrassed, it should be him that is ashamed.

Might be worth trying the Freedom Programme and engaging with domestic abuse support services to start working through things.
