To think no teacher is affirming animal/moon/object genders

Surely no teacher in the UK would or could affirm a child who claimed to be a cat or a moon or any other sort of animal or object - eg letting them wear non-uniform, eat from bowl, disrupt learning with neo-pronoun requests. Just nonsense. This must be kids taking the piss and feeding bullshit to gullible journos.

I’ve also seen posters on here claiming their kid/cousin’s kid/neighbour’s goat breeder’s Auntie Sue’s best friend has first hand knowledge of this, and again I call bullshit. Bullshit. Any posters who say it’s not bullshit, get off here and write to Gillian Keegan, who explicitly requested examples of batshittery in schools at a recent select committee hearing, and name the school, and write to your local MP and ofsted too. But I think it’s just bullshit and teacher bashing.

I’m a secondary school teacher- knives, gangs, poverty, hunger, poor behaviour, absences. These are all genuine issues we are dealing with.
Kids identifying as animals are not the correct focus here.

So the girls said that if a hypothetical girl was to say that she was a cat, she would be insane. And then the teacher - far from agreeing "yes, that would be daft" calls them "disgraceful" and threatens to report them to the head.

Lots of papers to choose from here, back in 2019 a lad in Scotland was expelled [expelled] for filming his teacher reprimanding him.

The teacher had been getting the students to log on to a website and the website asked as part of the registration, which 'gender' and gave two options. The teacher started saying that this was wrong and there were more than two and the student said 'no, there are two'. He was about to be reprimanded so put his phone on record as it was too mental to comprehend.

He was suspended, and the suspension was extended and extended until the furore died down and then they expelled him.

This has been going on for years.
