To think no teacher is affirming animal/moon/object genders

Surely no teacher in the UK would or could affirm a child who claimed to be a cat or a moon or any other sort of animal or object - eg letting them wear non-uniform, eat from bowl, disrupt learning with neo-pronoun requests. Just nonsense. This must be kids taking the piss and feeding bullshit to gullible journos.

I’ve also seen posters on here claiming their kid/cousin’s kid/neighbour’s goat breeder’s Auntie Sue’s best friend has first hand knowledge of this, and again I call bullshit. Bullshit. Any posters who say it’s not bullshit, get off here and write to Gillian Keegan, who explicitly requested examples of batshittery in schools at a recent select committee hearing, and name the school, and write to your local MP and ofsted too. But I think it’s just bullshit and teacher bashing.

YANBU: I don’t believe any teacher would affirm an animal or object gender.

I understand there are strong views on here about transgender issues. My AIBU is not intended to be about that.

There’s a conspiracy theory doing the rounds on SM about education, saying it was set up to produce an unquestioning, compliant workforce.

Looking at the numbers of drs, teachers, mental health workers, social workers, and big organisations going along with this dangerous ideology without asking any questions at it’s obvious safeguarding red flags, I do wonder if that theory is right.

Interesting, I would absolutely believe it. There's an awful lot of money at sake with the trans & furry communities, of course the major ogansiations are going to push it.

Hopefully the school provides a saucer of milk and a scratching post and insist that Felix makes use of them.

I could see a scenario where a bunch of rowdy year 9s try to disrupt a lesson where teacher goes:

'I don't care of you're a cat this week Johnson. You can meow as much as you like providing you open page 21 of the text book and start doing the assigned quadratic equations now!'

Which is not afirming anything, more trying to get 13 and 14 year olds to stop messing about.

I'm sure that the vast majority of teachers are also sick of this latest bandwagon, many will remember the Lauren years too. However if they were to ignore this affirming nonsense then the people who are now criticising them would be criticising them for not 'respecting' the pupils' identity.
The majority of teachers would like to just teach and not get mixed up in all the extraneous nonsense that gets dumped on them.

The generation that are buying into this nonsense are the future "Me Top" generation & so many people are sitting back enabling..
A boy cannot be a girl or a cat. Both are physically & biologically impossible.
