To think it's blooming freezing!

I've come downstairs and to be frank it's blooming cold. I have put a jumper on but am still not that warm. I know my temperature regulation is up the spout as I have long covid but am now wondering if it is just me or if others are feeling that it's exceptionally cold for June too - im tempted to put the heating on!

I hope it does. I have some summer clothes that I bought earlier this year that haven't come out of the wardrobe yet.

Just walked out of office in central London and it's horribly hot. Weather app says 21, feels like more. Ugh.

I'm sat in the sun in the garden - with a jumper and trousers on because we still have that horrible North easterly wind, and debating whether to go in because I am cold (South Yorkshire).

Felt way too hot today. Dreading the rest of summer.

Its hot when the sun is out but it cools down really quickly as soon as it sets.

Currently 17 degrees here at 18:30. Only had a t-shirt and shorts om today, and went paddling in the sea. For once l'm not cold!

I just want the thermometer to at least reach 20 degrees. That isn't too much to ask. I haven't worn any of my summer clothes yet

I had just had to put the heating on again as it was quite chilly, I shall welcome this heatwave at the weekend as it might warm the house through a bit

I'm still in socks, I haven't got my sandals out yet this year

Where do all those who are freezing live? It was really hot here today in West Sussex, just shows how many variables there are!

I'm in Northamptonshire, it was a bit warmer today in the sun but we still have this nagging wind, the house seems to be stuck at just over 17 degrees unless I put the heating on in the evening, if I hadn't had it on the house would probably be 16. I'm hoping the house gets up to 20 at the weekend

It's been hot here in Manchester for about 2 weeks now, just a nice level of warmth though. This weekend and next week are set to get hotter and I'm not looking forward to that!

It's the wind for me. It's absolutely freezing!!

I like to have the back door open when it's sunny but I can't at the moment because the wind is so cold.

Think it's meant to drop a bit next week. Just in time for the rain and the thundery showers 🙄

South Yorkshire, which is a long way from Sussex.

It has been very dry as well as cold, and we really need some rain.

I am so looking forward to some real summer weather this weekend. The Met Office have forecast 25 degrees. I can get my summer clothes out, take my socks off and wear sandals - hurrah.

Camping at the Yorkshire Dales/Cumbria meeting point... Beautifully sunny all day but a bitterly cold blustery breeze at night. Wearing underclothes, thick nightie, bedsocks and a down jacket inside my sleeping bag, plus a patchwork squares blackest and two hot water bottles. Listening to the tent flap and crackle in the wind. Where is summer?

It’s not been cold in the south east. Sussex has been lovely and sunny the last couple of weeks, no rain so all the grass is going brown now. But yes invent some other reason to hate on the south east 🙄

Freezing wind here. If you're in the (rare) sun and out of the wind, it's ok, but otherwise it's rubbish. DH wanted to put the heating on last night, and I said, No, it's June! But secretly I wanted it on too!

East/West divide, over in the East we're all in hoodies and jumpers .

We've still got another 6 days of sun, sun, sun forecast. It's meant to reach 26° on Wednesday . Very unusual for this part of the country!
