Mushrooms are slimy and taste of mould.

Has nobody been on yet to tot up the amount of calories in your salad? Don't you know that mayonnaise alone has 4,000 calories per tsp? You could have replaced the houmous with some ground up soil and spit, far fewer calories! And just half a boiled egg would have been more than enough. Replace your potato salad with some more cucumber rolled in muller light and you'll have a much healthier meal!

Oh, I couldn't possibly eat all of that, certainly not while im trying to keep myself trim and attractive to DH.

That’s not a salad! It’s a heavy meal. Too many flavours and the textures/tastes would be mangled. It’s a no from me.

My salad-
mixed leaves, loads.
choped up
red onion, cucumber, charred tender stem broccoli, cooled. cherry toms, black olives, avocado, fresh basil, shredded red cabbage and grated carrot, mandolined radishes, You could add one of these-
roasted shredded chicken
tofu
tuna
Serve with a miso vinegarette. Massage the red cabbage with olive oil and lemon juice before hand.

Heaven So light and fresh.
