Brexit was a disaster. So why don't people vote Lib Dem?

Now that the people who voted Brexit are realising they were lied to, what is the point of them swinging back to Labour - a party which consistently evaded taking a coherent stance on Brexit for fear of losing certain voters? How are they any better than the Tories on this issue? The Lib Dems were and still are the only party with an anti-Brexit policy. AIBU to think Labour have shown themselves to be just as disingenuous and full of 'career politicians' as the Tories? At least the Lib Dems were honest and straightforward on this issue?

Next time I vote it’ll be the first time I don’t vote Lib Dem. Again, because of the penis comments. I just can’t vote for someone that goes along with that nonsense.

Before I felt they’d had a bad deal in the press - as soon as the coalition ended we saw how much effect they had actually had on stopping the Tories. Everything got so much worse, so fast as soon as they had ‘free rein’.

My mum has voted for and campaigned for the Lib Dems (in some form) all her life. She was told by a young, male canvasser that she was a bigot for disagreeing with him that women can have a penis. I can't vote now but if I could I wouldn't vote Lib Dem as I have seen firsthand the contempt they have for women. No thanks.

We have a Lib Dem Council. They think they are a bit special and wonderful and they make a point of being very very nice to posh roads. Roads with social housing are treated very differently. Our borough ( South West London) promotes a two tier system with a great deal lot of autonomy for richer areas to choose how their roads are organised. It is not so pleasant if you live in a poorer road. They have also made poor decisions about the running of schools locally.
I will go the Labour route but I know Lib Dems ( new Tories) will romp home.

Three reasons.

1. I'm pro eu but the lib Dems eventually became utterly militant and tone deaf on the subject to the point that a better deal which we could have had was blocked because they were determined to 'win'. It was utterly arrogant and ideologically driven. Instead everyone has ultimately lost.

2. The rampant sexism within the party which goes beyond way beyond lady penises. It's duplicitous.

3. The extent of brain dead nimbyism they push. There's no pragmatism and careful consideration about problems. It's just block everything.

Generally speaking I'm a centrist but I find them thick as mince, tone deaf and stuck in their own echo chamber. And that's not how you run a country.
