Ok I know I've spelt her surname wrong... but here we are. We all know who I'm talking about! I just don't understand why social media has turned on her, almost blaiming her for allowing Phillip S antics to go on? Why is she responsible for his actions???? And for those saying "she must've known"... maybe she didn't! Maybe she kept out of it or maybe she didn't know the full one and puts. Why so she being Blaine's. Am I missing something??!

it should be fairly easy to change the name of the show and have a bit of a revamp (new furniture/setting etc). I agree that the name is tainted and there will have to be some thought about how to transition to a new label.

I think that means Holly is entrenched with the TM label and so any OF fro.her may need to have her try and portray herself as a victim rather than an integral part of the show culture. A Holly bares all exclusive in a sympathetic magazine?

HOWEVER I think it depends on how things play out over the next few days.

The direction of travel now seems to be on a toxic clique around Phil - which potentially included Holly but not necessarily.

Dr Ranj is also getting some stick on twitter due to this article from Feb 26th 2020 (for context Phil's Coming Out was at the start of that month and you need to consider how Dr Ranj felt given the situation with his OWN wife).

A few months ago Woman and Home had a piece written by a woman whose husband came out as gay after many years of marriage. It was awful to read. She said it explained why their sex life was "clunky" A while after he was even excitedly showing her pics of his new boyfriend. What right do men have to do this to women. She did say at the end of the piece that she is now in a new relationship and how wonderful it is to finally be desired.

Doing something like this is robbing the women in this kind of situation of the chance of being loved in the way they deserve. Both emotionally and sexually It is cruel.

Women do it too to be fair, it’s not an uncommon theme on here.

Dr Ranj and Rylan I think come out of this unscathed.
Amanda Holden was upfront about her criticism of PS undermining her at the time. Ruth was known to be concerned.
Although bosses asking her and Eamonn to be complicit in the sofa support debacle undermines them, same as Dermot and Alison being asked to do the homage to Phil spot.

Holly/Martin/Carolyn - pastures new.

Ah, scrap that. Ranj praised him for coming out. Nah, they're all complicit. And yes, well aware of Ranj's own circumstances.
But if things were toxic, you'd say nowt, surely. Same as Dan Wootton rewriting history too. You can't publicly praise on social media/virtue signal, without upholding that system.

Haven’t read every page so don’t know if this has already been shared but this is the 2018 Nta clip where MM goes on stage with them. Not only is he on stage but he’s front and centre right behind them! Does seem a bit odd when anyone else at the awards/going on stage seems to be either management, production team or the presenters. The only person still sitting is Holly’s husband so presumably other runners etc don’t get to go to the awards

So I can work with someone I absolutely adore working with and gestures at Holly but then turns behind and before he looks directly behind, looks directly at MM.
It's creepy as fuck to me in the light of what we know now. It's like he's trying to tell him he adores working with him covertly.

PS was in a position of power and groomed a child, using a career in TV as bait and then lied about it, including to his lawyers, that's why it's problematic.

But I’m guessing it will limp on for a few weeks with frantic paddling behind the scenes. They will struggle to book guest slots, advertising and sponsors will vote with their feet etc.

HW won’t feature as she’s tainted by association. Frizzell and Co are out too.

In the coming days and weeks more will be revealed. The Daily Mail’s DW will have far, far more to say about this. It’s now all too toxic and daytime tv is not supposed to be like that.

I’ve never watched the programme and have no idea on HW’s strengths, or lack of, as a presenter. She may have a future perhaps on another channel after a period of time has passed and the dust settled, but she needs crisis management PR to make the transition and distance her from all of this. A lot will depend on what further revelations are forthcoming.

It is a shame for Alison she was just getting a break. I don't often feel interested in many presenters. I really like Josie and Alison from BB, I will miss them, shame.

Eamonn has been very open in his dislike for the two and it's not just the stuff with the runner.

Holly wont be able to survive the bullying claims that are starting to emerge. They will need to ditch the TM format altogether (way past its sell by date anyway) and start again with something new. Hopefully with Fern Britten.

That's my suspicion. HW could ride out the PS and the Runner stuff. But I think it's the bullying stuff that may be more problematic for her if it engulfs her too. (Which I think there is a fair chance of).

I think it's all coming crashing down now. Too many other people involved with the show are confirming the issues and its in a death spiral now. Holly will come off badly, she's a cultivated 'wholesome, girl next door' image and the more that comes out, the more it looks like she just turned a blind eye to further her career. After all, look what happened to everyone who raised concerns!
