Ok I know I've spelt her surname wrong... but here we are. We all know who I'm talking about!

I just don't understand why social media has turned on her, almost blaiming her for allowing Phillip S antics to go on?

Why is she responsible for his actions????

And for those saying "she must've known"... maybe she didn't! Maybe she kept out of it or maybe she didn't know the full one and puts.
Why so she being Blaine's. Am I missing something??!

Considering Phil had carried Holly for the best part of 15 years, she’s dumped him quick as a flash.
He came out as gay - queue lots of sympathy , he’s a hero , so brave for coming out, wow now he’s part of the LGBTG community . Holly is his best friend through thick and thin.

Then the media turns on PS as it transpires he was seeing a young runner, Holly drops him like a hot potato.

With friends like her who need enemies?

She's on holiday in Portugal. She is coming back on a reported £700,000 salary.

would she really have her fingers in these pies if her husband wasn’t some kind of producer? No one can tell me he doesn’t have some influence over her career!

Phil won’t be back on tv I doubt ever again, but he’s made more than enough to live on I suspect.

He came out as gay in early 2020, presumably it as to do with the young runner for ITV.
But it was strange how it all went away for over 3 years, then the media just turned on him and ITV dropped him.

Personally I wouldn't pay an insipid and banal presenter like Holly even 10% of that. I don't get her appeal. She looks ok, simpers and giggles and adds very little.

But then again, it's about 20 years since I've been a regular viewer of TM so I'm not their core audience.

He came out as a deal, we expose you or you tell your story through us, the usual media blackmail basically.
Holly thought the public would turn o. Phil over the affair, but they didn't and she then used the excuse of him not telling her about his brother's trial. A family matter that had nothing to do with her.
She's always been a self centred person with no care for anyone else except those who can get her up.

I do agree that Phil shows more loyalty to Holly, she probably did knew more than what she let on but Phil kept her out of it and hasn’t said anything.
I shows he had some good traits atleast.

She publicly dumped him on air despite being the bested of friends.

He basically carried her throughout her presenting career on This Morning.

I absolutely love Alison, Craig and Josie on TM. They just seem more normal and relatable and there for a laugh, not taking themselves too seriously.

Holly Willoughby is the most irritating fake persona ever. I never watch the programme now. All this best pals rubbish and then dropped. Its horrible. The programme is well past its sell by date.

I don't believe that Holly knew nothing about Phil's affair with the young runner. I've known for a couple of years & I don't even work in the industry.

Totally agree. But then that goes for the vast majority of people on TV, including the majority of actors. You could grab any random, pretty girl off the street and she’d do just as good a job as Holly, or Amanda Holden, or whoever. Worth £700k? She’s barely worth £25,000 a year.

I don't believe she's leaving because of some bloke with a clear learning disability planning something that would never have happened.

Let's face it, after all that's gone on it had run its course and she was probably looking for a way to get out of This Morning and do something else- she was always going to do other things in her career at some point. She will face the same putative risks whatever work she does on TV.

The only way she can avoid occassional nutters having thoughts, is to never work again, have plastic surgery to change her face, dye her hair brown and change her name, and that's presumably not going to happen.

She'll have a break to let the heat die down after everything and then do something else.

I mean, she might become a full time homemaker or work in admin but I think that unlikely.

@porridgeisbae it was a bit more than that though. There was a website where various people were discussing how to murder her, and the man now in custody had, according to what was said in court, paid someone in the US to commit the crimes and had put together a kit.

Given what happened to Jill Dando, I’d be terrified too if I were Holly. I think anybody would. This was more than just a lone nut’s fantasies. There had been some significant preparation to put the plan into action and there were more people involved in the plan/wishing her serious harm than the single person currently in custody.

Who knows what she will do in the future - she probably doesn’t know herself at the minute but this is horrific!
