He’s had a lot to say this morning, probably things, he, and many others, have wanted to say for a long time, very interesting. He and Ruth seem to be v well
liked and respected in the industry and are good, decent people.
It seems karma is working it’s magic, which is so rare with workplace bullies and arseholes, I’m so here for it. May the decent people prevail!

I'm most definitely not a Philip Schofield fan. I've no idea what he's like personally. I imagine he might be a little conceited. However, this is all starting to feel like a witch hunt now. This level of public humiliation and bullying is making me feel extremely uncomfortable.
Very few people are purely good or bad. People are complicated yet everyone is very publically sticking the boot in now.

Of course all people are a mix of good and bad.

However, I refuse to see the good in his behaviour and it amazes me how many people will ignore his actions.

I just can't garner any sympathy for someone who covers for a child abuser and who has actively groomed underage boys themselves

HRTQueen · 22/05/2023 10:24

I think we shall read of Holly’s announcement to move on to exciting new projects that of course her husband is creating for her

Abitofquietinthemorningplease · 22/05/2023 10:28

@Fairyliz Fern tweeted how she’d had a lovely catch up with Eamonn, they’re good friends apparently

Is anyone better than me and can please post Eamonn on Gb news this morning? It’s around 9 minutes long and I believe everything he says and it shows why he might be bitter, I would be too.
He’s been v close to it all, obviously knows so much more than the average viewer does, it must be frustrating as hell
I agree with him about Holly too, she could have supported others complaints about the P.S situation and been kind to the poor runner boy and all the other people they treated like crap

I disagree @Abitofquietinthemorningplease If Eamon DID say this, then it's pretty unprofessional and rude, and as a pp said, it makes him come across as very bitter. Not cool.

Iwasafool · 22/05/2023 09:37

Can't stand Eamonn or Ruth for that matter so I wouldn't be interested in what he thinks. He always seems so full of his own importance and she isn't far behind.

agree with you

MySugarBabyLove · 22/05/2023 10:34

There’s a difference between not having any sympathy though, and what amounts to a public flogging, which is what this ha essentially become.

People feel permitted to start discussion after discussion after discussion gloating and speculating and essentially bullying because it’s all being done online.

Would you think it was ok to have him marched down the street so you could stand there throwing stones and insults as happened back in Victorian times?

because these kinds of discussions are the modern day equivalent of that.

Eamon Holmes is a misogynistic arsehole.

😆Oh to have a close relative in the TV industry. Imagine that? Already having a famous relative and not having to do fuck-all to get into the world of celebrity? I'm a bit jealous, not gonna lie. Grin

Oh I am not a fan, but I just think if he DID say what that headline said, then it's a bit unprofessional.

3luckystars · 22/05/2023 10:35

If he had said it a few months ago I would have though that was great, being honest, but now it’s like just getting a boot in.

No, that was announced on the weekend

She's off for a fortnight

Abitofquietinthemorningplease · 22/05/2023 10:41

I think If id been in his situation, I’d be exactly the same, P.S’s treatment of staff and other presenters and this young boy, Holly going along with it all. Ruth being decent and putting a complaint in and then later, losing her presenting role. Rylan leaving due to the way they were, well P.S at least. Not to mention lovely Fern Britton and Amanda Holden (I’m not really a fan, but still unfair behaviour) We’ve surely all been in workplaces where arseholes wield power like this, I would revel in the downfall too, it’s a good day for karma working it’s magic.
There is something v odd in that P.S is being protected by itv and it needs to be investigated further

OP posts:
MySugarBabyLove · 22/05/2023 10:42

So the source of all this is the Daily Mail and GB news? Home of the most bitter, over opinionated 3rd rate presenters? And you think that those sources are to be applauded?

Willmafrockfit · 22/05/2023 10:43

Eamon needs to be careful,
this will bite him on the bum

Abitofquietinthemorningplease · 22/05/2023 10:44

@MySugarBabyLove Do you have any idea what’s been going on? Do you condone it?

Why are people only talking about Philip’s brother, when he also is meant to have done something dodgy with the runner ? It’s not only one thing that he’s gone for.

Abitofquietinthemorningplease · 22/05/2023 10:47

@DustyLee123 Exactly and Eamonn obviously knows all this and more, they were the decent people, Ruth put her career on the line and was unfairly ejected out, so wrong. It must be so frustrating for him to not be able to say the full truth that most viewers have no idea about

Because the is a super injunction in place relating to the runner. Which is due to end soon.

@ForTheLoveOfSleep And then I guess everyone will understand Eamonns justified anger etc

Ruth & Eamonn were fantastic, also Rylan too, apparently staff all said those were great times with a positive, enjoyable atmosphere etc

I can't stand Ruth or Eamon or Rylan. Holly seems as bad as Phil.
