The taxi driver only had them in his car for a short time. There’s footage of the paparazzi taking photos close to the car so they were being harassed, it’s what paparazzi do. I know what my friends in NY think of the paparazzi and their only comments around this incident have been negatively aimed at the paparazzi, not Harry and Meghan. They’re not caught up in the love/hate thing for Harry and Meghan that some mumsnetters seem to be. I don’t know anyone IRL that is.

If it eben happened as their spokesperson claimed, the NYPD and the taxi-driver seem to think that recollections vary. Maybe a prelude to Fast and Furious H and M!

It's a really muddled story. No-one was hurt however so it's been blown out of proportion.

I personally hate the paparazzi for how they behave whether that’s to Harry and Meghan or any other celebrities. They’re intimidating and have no boundaries.

Hate to disappoint you but in this case it is definitely representative because their approval rating among the UK public is 23% (Meghan) and 29% (Harry) and they have 27% support here. Pretty much spot on, I'd say!
