To not understand why anyone would not watch the Coronation?

OK, I get that you are an edgy republican, but are you not a little bit nosy?
And if you really don't care, why are you on every Coronation thread telling everyone you don't care? Why would you not just ignore them, as you don't care?
I personally have no time for the Royal family and think they should be abolished completely, but I can't imagine not watching such a big thing for the whole country, in the same way I watched the euro Cup final even though I could not name any of the players as I have no interest in football.

Why would I wasted my time when I could be doing something I'm interested in. And as for watching football when you're not interested, why? Seems utterly silly to waste your own time like that to me!

Very busy life, any free time I have has to go on enjoyable, worthwhile, meaningful activities or rest, not watching something irritating and dull.
Plus I live near where it's happening so have gone away!

I think this is a lot of people TBH. We have loads of house / garden stuff that needs doing and a kids softplay birthday party to attend.

I spent the morning cooking and baking. Looking forward to ramen with my family tonight and knowing I have yummy/zero effort mid week meals sorted is exactly what i need. There were also a fair few people in the Forest of Dean when I walked the dogs earlier. Did my soul the world of good.

People say they're not interested and won't watch, but I had to go out during the ceremony and there was no one on the streets in town. So I reckon more people are watching than would admit it.
