YABU - my phone got the alert

YANBU - my phone was switched on and enabled, but received no alert

Network: Three. Phone: Samsung.

Got my alert at 14:50. URR URR URR noises for about 7 seconds. Pop-up message on the screen. No voice.

So if we had been getting a 10 minute warning of a nuclear attack some people would have got the alert 10 mins late, some would have been lucky and got it a minute early and some not at all!

well, I didn't want to go to sleep until it had happened, but it it still has not happened, so I'm going to sleep anyway. I hope it doesn't go unexpectedly while I'm sleeping now

Three phones in our house all on the same network(o2).
One audible signal and two texts🤷🏼‍♀️

2 mobiles on EE got the alert, the other mobile on Smarty (Three) didn't.

Well that's the point of a test isn't it? To find the bugs.

Personal and work mobiles got alerts and messages (Vodaphone and EE - both iPhones) about a minute apart.

Came on DD's phone, not mine. Neither of us has done anything to enable/disable. Mine is early 2020, hers is late 2021. Don't know why the difference? Unless hers was bought 18 months later?

I'd also like to know how they will know who didn't get it and why? Are we supposed to report it somewhere? Can mobile phone companies somehow find who received it, who didn't and why?

Otherwise, how will they correct it.

Yep came through on my phone and Apple Watch, had to be cleared on each separately. Group of about 10 parents, all phones went off, aside from 1 who turned notifications off.

I am on holiday in Spain. I hoped that the network would ping all phones with a UK contract. I would want to know what was happening with family at home.
