so, did your phone receive the alert? If it was turned on and enabled?

not very good coverage here at all - unless it comes later...

YABU - my phone got the alert

YANBU - my phone was switched on and enabled, but received no alert

Hmm…so checked my phone, emergency alerts are on and it’s a new-Ish phone (less than 12 months old). Am on virgin mobile which piggy backs on 3 so it looks like 3 is the problem?

I'm on virgin and I got it.

DH is with ID, he didn't.

Mine did, DHs didn't, both phones were on silent and he hadn't done anything to disable it

I'm with Smarty which uses the 3 network so it's clearly a 3 issue preventing some people from getting the alert from all the other posts I've read.

Mine finally went off around 3.30. I don't get much signal here so I don't know if that was why.

Yes, not a lot of confidence in the government if this is the system that according to a newspaper report, was 10 years in the making!!!

Seven phones only two alerts.

Patchy mobile signal so we normally rely on wifi calling.

I thought it might have been because I'm on WiFi calling, so put it in the window where there's signal after DPs went off and mine didn't, but it still took a good 8 mins to come through even with signal.

We're on wifi calling as well. Four phones, different networks only one went off and at 15.16.

2 of us on 3, neither of us got it. I'm not sure whether my work phone got it - it's upstairs and I cba checking. If it did, it wasn't loud enough to hear from downstairs!

Had phone on aeroplane mode, turned it back to normal at 15:01 and immediately got alert.

Three phones here, and three alerts. The EE phones got it at 14.59, the O2 one at 15.01.

Adding to my earlier posts, I've still received nothing. DH got the siren but no message came with it. DD and her boyfriend were the only ones here who got the whole thing.

Mine was accidentally on silent so I didn't get anything, I did think it was supposed to go off if your phone was on silent
