so, did your phone receive the alert? If it was turned on and enabled?

not very good coverage here at all - unless it comes later...

YABU - my phone got the alert

YANBU - my phone was switched on and enabled, but received no alert

DS did - he is on Voxi and I didn’t on my ID network

Yes got the alert, forgot it was happening and shit myself, stopped as soon as I went to unlock phone but didn’t get message though.

I'm partially deaf and either mine didnt work or I didn't hear it. Got the on-screen message but no sound (that I could hear). Hmm....

I thought I wasn't going to get it, but it finally came through at 3.10.

I thought it might have been because I'm on WiFi calling, so put it in the window where there's signal after DPs went off and mine didn't, but it still took a good 8 mins to come through even with signal.

maybe ours will still come then, 3 phones here, and nothing.....

We got it. We used to get alerts like this in the US when there were tornadoes near by or flash flood warnings when it would include a message as to which were the affected areas. We also used to get amber alerts with details of abducted children and the abductees vehicle - quite a few parental abductions so quite common. It's very useful to know which areas to avoid for flooding and when to take cover for bad storms.

I'm on Three network. No signal problems, I'm in a city with perfect signal. DH is on a different network (Giffgaff via O2) and with me with same signal and he got his.

Yes, I got it at 14:59. I had totally forgotten it was happening and couldn't work out what it was for a minute.

My phone is on silent, but set to receive emergency alerts and vibrate. Nada so far. Signal strength is good and I'm connected to WiFi. What a let down😆

DH received it to his iPhone. Nothing to mine. He jumped out of his skin, and said lucky he wasn’t driving!

Yes I got it at 14:59. Even though I was expecting it and watching my phone I near crapped myself. I now have a fear of it going off in the middle of the night. I think I'd drop dead lol

Was in a soft play at the time. I'd say around 70% got the alert and 30% didn't.

Mine came but not till 15:12! Phone signal in our house is a bit shit though. DH was out for a run and got his on time (same network)
