For going out the front of a premiere inn, in my plad pjs ! Am I really ?! There was no1 around, I put a long cardigan over the top of them!

Spelled plaid, that’s probably why the PP was confused.

Sounds like your DP is also aware that people would judge you having a vape wearing PJs. Does he vape? If not then it’s probably that, rather than the PJs themselves - the combined effect.

Well I'm 33 is that middle aged ? And yeah Harry Potter pjs a little bit cringe, another vice of mine is abit of potter 😆
Wouldn't vape in the room. No he doesn't vape

Yeah you have to go outside the same as a cigarette, which is fine obviously as it's still other people breathing it in etc, but apparently not acceptable in my pjs!

If I saw someone in pjs vaping outside a travel lodge at 6.30am yes I would judge.

I wouldn't have gone outside in my PJs (I vape in hotel rooms) but it's not ridiculous.

Good for you not vaping in your room so popping outside. That was a considerate thing to do rather than bending the rules to suit yourself. I’m currently sitting out the back (very overlooked) in my pyjamas with pizzas printed all over them. Juvenile pj wearers of the world unite!

Ooo politely I'd be judging you slightly if I drove past 😂 but I'm a huge snob about vaping and things.

Not really the most ridiculous thing I've heard, but I would be a bit embarrassed if my DH had gone through corridors/lifts/reception to stand outside in Harry Potter pjs and vape 😂

Strange. I thought vaping was reserved for the under 20s and over 40s.

I’d judge anyone in between no matter what time of day it was and whatever attire they were in.

If the premier Inn was in a city centre location with loads of people walking past then yeah possibly maybe he has a point. But if it's one of those set back so its only other premier Inn customers then I don't get the deal. Its like your home for the night.

I mean it’s not a classy look, is it? Vaping in your pyjamas outside a Premier Inn. I can see why he’s embarrassed and tbh I would be too if my husband did stuff like this. It would be a major turn off.

At the same time, you’re an adult and you weren’t hurting anyone. Hopefully you weren’t vaping near the entrance so people had to walk through massive clouds of rubbish to get in/out, or near anyone’s window.

So I don’t think he was being unreasonable to voice his opinion, but then neither are you 🤷‍♀️

Can’t believe how judgy people are being, lol. Im quite self conscious and have never smoked/vaped, but if I’d seen you I’d think you were perfectly normal (especially at 6:30am, 4pm maybe a different matter but it’s none if my business, maybe you work nights). Guess he was embarrassed. Hope he doesn’t judge you too much?

Plaid is an umbrella term for checked fabrics. So all tartans are a form of plaid but not all plaid fabrics are tartan. Wool doesn’t come into it except insofar as some plaids may be made of wool.
