Am dating this guy.

Early days.

I offered to cook for him.

Asked him, is there anything you don’t eat.

Only veg he eats are peas and sweetcorn and tomatoes if they are in a sauce.

Wtaf? And no he’s not 5 he’s in his 40s

My son-in-law will literally only eat carrots vegetable wise. I find it so odd because his mum and brother eat absolutely anything and he himself is an amazing cook who will happily make dishes which incorporate vegetables for his family and friends. He doesn’t eat any fruit at all either yet doesn’t seem to suffer with constipation or anything…….yet.

My DH is very very picky (and my FIL is very picky too so there we go) BUT whenever I offered to cook in our early days he would just eat it and not give me a list! I would find that a bit off putting yes.
Nowadays some 7 years later he still eats what I make although I put his food on a plate first before adding the stuff he hates (if possible) or he just leaves them out (for example onions or mushrooms)….still makes me a little 🙄but no biggie. He does eat a greater variety now than before he met me.

God no I couldn’t be with a man like this. DH doesn’t like onion and wouldn’t eat a ragú or curry where he can see onion. Also won’t do raw tomatoes or strawberries and hates chutneys/ coleslaw, can’t be in the room when I eat them .
It’s really annoying.
