Would you feel uncomfortable if your cleaner wore these?

My cleaner often wears quite revealing leggings, I wouldn't care except my husband often works from home and she also cleans his office which requires bending etc. She's also very attractive. It makes me feel uncomfortable and inferior but I don't feel like I can say anything to her. I personally don't feel this is professional for anyone to be wearing to work, except perhaps if you work in a gym or similar. What do others think? Would you be ok with it?

You are completely right, why is your cleaner not wearing a habit around you? Wise up. Don't take your own jealousy and insecurity out on a woman making a living and stop perving on her while she is. Something seriously odd about this. If you don't like it then do your own cleaning.

Are you having a laugh? Can your poor DH not concentrate because someone is wearing leggings? Get a grip 👀

Office work isn't the same as cleaning though. Cleaners usually work alone or with one other person and their clothes are chosen to be comfortable and practical whilst doing physical work. Leggings would be the best as they wouldn't roll down, ride up or expose skin when bending, crouching etc. office wear has a totally different remit.

I already said this in my original post? She's way hotter than me right now. I've got a young toddler, and have put on loads of weight since having a baby. My butt may even look bigger and better, but my thighs and stomach will disguise it! 🙈

Some women find thongs the most comfortable knickers. Personally I could never but I've always assumed my bum is too voluminous to wear things that sit in the crack. Other women must find these leggings comfortable, since they like wearing them.

I am wondering if people are not looking at the photo carefully enough - with the stitching around the anus - I think it’s a red herring about your hubby I would not want to see a cleaner wearing that myself

Whilst I am firmly in the ‘wear what you want’ camp I know a cleaner who wears these (south coast) although she is not my cleaner but she is a cleaner so maybe she’s yours! The person I know is mid 20s and very attractive. I hadn’t thought about it too much in terms of being a cleaner but I did find it a bit uncomfortable the other day in knowing where to look as they are also very revealing and tight at the front and I was sitting down and she was standing in front of me. They’re not just normal leggings as you said but those real bum enhancer ones that you see some people wearing at the gym these days. I personally am not a fan.

They were originally meant for the gym but they seem to have become the ‘norm’ every day leggings.

It wouldn’t bother me someone wearing them to clean my house, they obviously feel comfortable in them and as long as they did a good job then I couldn’t care what they were wearing.

I very much doubt someone would wear leggings to a office job in London for example, not unless they were under a dress etc. Personally never seen anyone in leggings and a cropped top when I have worked up there.

Interested to know there is a line for some, seems like by most of these comments they wouldn't care if she was naked 😉

If your DH loves you for you he won’t be looking or leering at this poor woman trying to work anyway! I’m about three stone heavier and ten years older than our cleaner 🤣 but my DH somehow forces himself to jump into bed with me and not her!

It would bother me, but I'm an insecure person and my husband is a butt man.

However it would 100% be a me problem. I would never mention it to her or to him.

You’re going to drive yourself crazy thinking like that. You have to realise some of the most attractive, clever, funny, richest, whatever people in the world have been cheated on while there are countless people who aren’t conventionally attractive, rich etc who have loyal spouses and stay happily married for 70 years!

If you aren’t happy with your weight then obviously do something about it but whether you weigh 8 stone or 28 stone, it won’t make a difference to whether you’re cheated on or not.

Besides the fact that they are the ugliest item of clothing going at the moment, you are, as you already know, being unreasonable. She’s wearing clothes that are (presumably!) comfortable to her to do a manual job. Maybe your husband notices her, maybe he doesn’t, but it’s you he’s in love with and it’s you he’s married to. I understand that feeling of insecurity, especially when you feel you look very different to how you used to, I’m sorry you’re feeling that way x

I wouldn't like that view in my house, could she come when neither of you are at home? Change the cleaner under some other pretext if you are really bothered? But no, you can't really tell her what to wear, it would be super strange! Maybe she will get tired of those leggings with time and switch to something else?

Ask her where she got the leggings and buy yourself a pair.
