OP: Well, Keir I did start a thread on Mumsnet as you asked.
Keir: What did you discover?
Op: A lot of them are saying they won't vote Labour as they are worried about Women's Rights and fear of being erased in some way.
Keir: Ah, you mean they're anti trans bigots.
Op. Yes. Disgusting I know.
Keir: We know that but despite that there is a lot of noise coming from the Trans Lobby and their allies.
Op: Do you think there will be enough of them to make up for the fact that we might not get a lot of women's votes?
Keir: Oh yes! After all, those bigots are even been told off on your research thread by allies who are calling them out on their bigotry.
The Day After the Election
Op: Where did it all go wrong, Keir. I even started that Mumsnet thread, remember,.
Keir: I know and I can't understand it. There are more people in favour of transrights than those old Karens- so much more nose in favour than against
Op: I should have mentioned Keir, that when I went to where the pro trans noise is coming from, it was only a handful but they did have a lot of pots and pans and made a lot of noise.
When I looked at the anti trans bigots, they didn't have a lot of pots and pans so not much noise but there were millions of them.
Keir. So are you saying we listened to the wrong lot-the small group with nosey instruments and not to the silent crowd.
Op.: Yes, I think so.
Keir: Well, we lost the Election but we will stand with the Pro Trans lobby and pour insults on The Karens.
Op: Will that make The Karens vote for us next time.
Keir: Oh Yes! For us, it is a matter of principal and we will lose elections with our hearts intact.
