makes me not want to shop in Tesco again. I find it really something I don't want to watch, how is it a good idea

It’s horrific! There was a horror film recently where the woman had a face like that. Eurgh!!!

I saw that ad for the first time today, and it gave me the shivers. Who thought that was a good advert for Tesco?

OMG IT'S AWFUL

It's absolutely dreadful, just horrible, you do wonder who comes up with some adverts but that one is truly awful.

DGD aged 5 was with me this afternoon and saw it for the first time. It really scared her. I can see Tesco pulling this from the telly pretty soon.

The fact you're talking about it means it has had the desired effect.

And yes the faces are incredibly creepy

I thought when I read the opening post it would be an over reaction but no - it is very creepy

I think it has all the tropes of a horror film, so yes it might attract attention but I am not normally a bothered kind of person but I just can't understand the reasoning...how is it encouraging you to go for the Tesco brand

I think the desired effect is to make people think of and want to shop there. People are talking about it, yeah, but I doubt it's making them want to shop there!

I think it was done to create a buzz not really thinking about making people convert to Tesco, it has people talking about them even if its a bit negative

I don't get that logic? Why pay £££s in advertising for people to talk about your brand in a negative way and not gain customers 🤔

It’s beyond scary I can’t un see it! and the McDonald’s advert is weird too. Then we have the new scream film being advertised now too. Can we let us have some cute puppies and kittens 😉.

Yes! My ds(6) saw it and keeps randomly mentioning it and the creepy face so it’s obviously unsettled him. I don’t shop with Tesco anyway and this isn’t going to lure me in!
