makes me not want to shop in Tesco again. I find it really something I don't want to watch, how is it a good idea

It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be but yeah, weird.

I suspect the point of it is to get people talking about it, as we are doing now! ! That's as good an advertisement as any.

Reminds me of the bbc idents that were stopped as it made people feel ill ( this was a long time ago ) people complained and it turned out many people were actually affected by it
It doesn't stop me shopping there , but I do think they are creepy

Right!!!😂 I’ve just watched it now on YT. After the comments I was expecting something scary as fuck but it really wasn’t. It’s a bit strange but the comments had me expecting a jumpscare like the one in Incidious😂

I saw it for the first time last night. It's weird. How could Tesco think that would encourage people to ship with them? DH says it gives him the creeps.

For me I think it was the context. It was completely unexpected. And because I don't use media which uses these kinds of filters I'm not immune by seeing it done regularly.

When m and s use an old pop song to promote their things it gets into my head and they play it in the store too ( historically !)
I just hope they don't have ads with this weird face everywhere in the stores! Some children might get a bit freaked out by if ( and some adults too )

Saw it today .Just horrible .I thought it was just me (have a phobia of horror movies you see) Certainly wont encourage me to shop there!

Probably seemed like a good idea at the planning stage.

To be fair Tesco's decision to only allow discounts with a clubcard was effective from a business point of view.
