I’ve been here 15 years and just find it all so nasty and toxic a lot of the time. The witty responses have gradually been replaced by snidey bitchiness much of the time, honestly it’s so depressing. People get jumped on all the time for asking for support.

Thats before we get to the way that womens rights are treated plus the whole sex forum fiasco.

Nobody seems to give a shit really at MNHQ and they have a like it or lump it mentality to valid concerns.

On topic ... I once had to take a months-long break from MN after posting in relationships about my abusive ex showing up unannounced to see our son.

Some utter c*nt told me that he had every right to see his son and that my 'worries' were second to his rights. Probably a man, but I still remember the hurt.

I take on board your comments and won't be commenting further because as you said Carrot, there's nothing to be gained by it, and it wasn't my intention to cause any upset.

I recognise we have had different experiences and opinions on the Attagirls and you decided it wasn't for you, and I'll be happy to leave it at that.

The Attagirls is a much nicer place than MN at times. There is a bit of cliqueyness but that's forums in general ay.

OP I like to spread my time around different websites. Some for bitching, some for laughing, some for research. If you stay in the one place too long you always start to notice the stains on the carpet.

There is no doubt in my mind that MN has some of the worst, petty, mean-girl bitches you can find online. They never grow up out of their highshool ways and try to get their little bully fixes where they can.
