Salad with Carbonara

Tonight we had Carbonara from Gousto and they send ingredients for a side salad. Who the fuck has salad with carbonara? My DH wasn't as outraged as I am 😂

YABU - salad with Carbonara is normal
YANBU - it's weird!!

What else would you have?
Always have a salad with pasta dishes. Separate plate obviously. Can't stand lasagne and chips etc which seem to be popular in some local pubs-carbs plus carbs.

Why is salad with a pasta dish weird!? Just have it on the side, you don't mix it in.

ON the other hand, you could sell it on eBay for a small fortune given the current media panic...

I'd have salad with a lasagne or a cannelloni etc but not a carbonara or spaghetti to be honest.

I don't care if it is dated. I don't eat foods because they are in fashion. I just eat things I like.
