Good morning. I am an idiot.

I have a godson whose mother is lovely but very religious and a bit uptight. It’s his 9th birthday today. Long story short I placed an Amazon order to be delivered to their house, and he’s just opened it and it turns out that alongside the nice gifts I sent him, I accidentally included something else that was in my basket….

His dad (my friend) has just rung me howling with laughter, but the wife is apparently not at all amused.

I know AIBU but this is a public service announcement to double check your basket when you’re sending things to someone else.

I brought a little cloth bag back from Greece for my granddaughter. It had cartoon sheep on it, all folded up, both my friends bought them too for lightweight gifts.
I gave it to my granddaughter, when both the other grandparents were there, (as usual!) He was a very self righteous non drinker.
Unfortunately, once it was unfolded, it became obvious that the clearly labelled sheep were not all well behaved..pissed sheep was just one.

Hello. I had to dig this thread out as tonight I have been out with my friend (the dad) and I have found out my godson, now nearly 12, refers to me as Wankerwoman when his mother’s not in earshot.

I always wanted to be a superhero but not like this..

I'm very religious & would find this hilarious 😅 Though depending on what it was they may never look at you in quite the same way.
