Stay mad 😘

That is brilliant 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 just about sums you up

4thonthe4th · 01/02/2023 10:35

@LaLuz7 I must ask; did you manage to come up with a longer name for the oh so sensible Rue that you wanted to use?

JanusTheFirst · 01/02/2023 10:36

Real Bambi was a boy. Odd name for a girl.

Hahahahaa excellent find.

Rants on and on about the ‘embarrassment’ of the child being called Bambi and yet wanted to use a ‘name’ meaning to bitterly regret something or ‘street’ in French. Pick your poison.

She even made a thread the other way to mock another poster asking for a name for her newborn when she already had a daughter called Dylan.
A pathetic troll who seems to forget her own choices are absolutely shit!
I bet baby Rue, rues the day he was born to LaLuz of the sensible name choices.

What I don't understand is all these brands like The Range and Home Bargains congratulating them all over social media...I didn't think they were that famous to be honest.

OhGingleBells · 01/02/2023 11:20

There’s an American dancer/actress (now 96!) - Bambi Linn. Apparently short for ‘Bambina’

PinotPony · 01/02/2023 13:24

Wasn't she a Bond character..? Tumbled across the room and attacked Roger Moore with her thighs....?

CanStopWillStop · 01/02/2023 13:25

WimbyAce · 01/02/2023 09:55

Name aside though, have you seen the frigging nursery?

Another baby growing up in a world devoid of colour. Griege for the win huns 😂

After the clueless prostitute in Secret diary of a call girl? Nice! 🙃
Appropriate.

I'd be worried about calling my child Bambi, someone might Thumper...

Brilliant

FlameGrilledSquirrel · 01/02/2023 14:18

Coming to a theatre near you this summer, a tale of woodland revenge.

As a child he saw his mother murdered in cold blood.

Now...he's back.

Bambi <dramatic music> Fury

Honestly she is so clueless about what having a baby actually means. Reminds me of some colleagues at work when their main priority was what change bag they bought 🙄 And as for Tommy Fumbles, he seems to have the intellect of a pea so I don't have high hopes for him as a father 😏

I even saw one from Hillary Blinds 🤣 But then I thought aha she is trending so are they just doing it for advertising?

monsteramunch · 01/02/2023 15:49

@Inyournightgarden

its a tacky council estate name, sorry if that offends but it absolutely is

I never understand this wording. You're not sorry are you, so why say that you are?

FYI there plenty of privately educated and objectively 'posh' girls with names like Bunny, Binky and Bambi. Minty. Tiggy.

So while you wanted to look down on 'the poors' and use council estate as a sort of slur, you've actually just come across as a bit silly on all fronts really.

MaryShelley1818 · 01/02/2023 15:53

Awful.....

Bambi was a boy for a start.
Or a stripper!

Agree and I said similar to @Inyournightgarden earlier… I don’t think she has any experience of private schools so actually, her council estate attempted slur has said more about her than anyone else.

OoooohMatron · 01/02/2023 16:10

It's awful, but there are so many terrible names now that they are just normal.

Bunny, Binky etc aren't their actual names though, just nicknames - Binky from MIC's real name is Alexandra.

To me Bambi is a stripper name and frankly ridiculous. Have it as a cute nn when they're little if you like but give your child a proper name fgs.

NortieTortie · 01/02/2023 16:33

I don't think much of the pair but Bambi is pretty. I'm not really seeing the bullying potential either. There are worse namesakes than a cute Disney deer.

There was a Charlotte in my school who'd get called Charlotte the harlot.

Mercurial123 · 01/02/2023 16:44

There's definitely worse names on here. It wouldn't be my choice.

mrstnov13 · 01/02/2023 16:54

I like Bambi. Just think it doesn't go well with Fury.

Puffinshop · 02/02/2023 19:19

LaLuz7 · 01/02/2023 10:25

This right there is why countries such as Iceland have a name registry you can choose from and if you want to give your baby a name that's not on there you need to get it formally pre-approved. They won't accept any names that might cause embarrassment to the child.

I think they've got the right idea.

It might interest you to know that Bambi is on the list Grin

As are an awful lot of very silly names.

QueSyrahSyrah · 02/02/2023 20:22

@Puffinshop I've had a hell of a day and that little piece of intel has cheered me right up, thanks! Grin

Our friend LaLuz has gone quiet recently. Wonder why that is.
