Which person is right?

Person A is tattoo owner and says it’s one single tattoo as it’s of siblings names and was completed in one session.

Person B says they count as two separate small tattoos as there is too much of a gap to be counted as one.

YABU - Person A is correct, it’s one tattoo
YANBU - Person B is correct, it’s two tattoos

2 (IMO.) They are totally separate, even if they were done at the same time, and there are 2 siblings names.

If it was one tattoo they would be linked somehow, whether its with a heart, a rose or a swirly line.

It's two tattoos. There's nothing really tying them together other than they're in the same style.

I’ve had two tattoos done over one full day session. They’re right beside each other but absolutely are two separate tattoos. I’ve also had one tattoo with multiple different components (an animal, flowers, leaves) done over two sessions (one full day, one half day) and it is one tattoo. It was just a huge piece that needed extra time to finish.

If I was paying I'd argue 1 tattoo but looks like 2 to me.

Depends really. Is a phrase or song lyrics words classed as one or each one..same day, needle same context 1 ... or 2 because its 2 separate people. Hard one.

Had it been one person (name and surname) it could have interpreted as one tattoo albeit a very wonky one with a big gap between them.

Same font style and day I would say one. Same as phrase/lyrics etc might be one. How far apart are the names op?

Or it's a 'unique' spelling of Summer which seems more likely.

It's not a list. The line spacing between the names is about 4.5! If there was a big '&' between the names in the same style, that might make it 1 tattoo.

Person A vehemently disagrees with me and asked me to post this because as they are so close together they are a list and count as one.
