To think that a man standing outside a school in girls uniform is not OK?

crinklemum2 · 20/01/2023 08:35

Name changed as this is very local and he was seen wearing my DD's school uniform.

A local school uniform shop shared images to reassure parents they would not be selling him any items. Essex police say he poses no risk and people should stop sharing the photos. He looks to be late 50s/early 60s.

He's been seen around schools - both primary and secondary - dressed as a school girl (in their uniform). I am fucking outraged that the police don't seem to think that's an issue. God forbid we offend men or shame their fetishes.

AIBU that this must be an antisocial behaviour at the very least?

People with mental issues don't tend to think rationally like that. In fact they often don't get the support they need until thier behaviour becomes so disturbing and bizarre that it starts getting plastered all over social media.

People with mental health issues don’t get a free pass to harass children. Until we have proof of these alleged issues, I’ll take that with a pinch of salt anyway seeing as it’s the go to excuse for perverts.

I accept that the police don't believe he is a danger to kids so I'm not stressing about it

Because the police are experts on what men are a danger to women and girls aren’t they?!

Well, they seem to have been pretty good at identifying it. After all, they called Wayne Couzens 'the rapist', and they clocked 'Bastard Dave' too. Can't argue with their expertise there. It's doing anything to act on that knowledge they appear to have a problem with.

Oooh! The revisionism has started!

Wonder where that will lead?

He has the capacity to make sure he’s in a girls uniform, to make sure he’s in a wig, to make sure he’s there when the children are getting on the bus, to lie about the purpose of the skirt and to make sure his uniform fits perfectly. 🤔

And to make sure it’s the correct uniform for the particular school. Also to know his measurements before going into the shop because he sure as hell isn’t trying that school uniform on in the changing room (give it a few months though!!)

DesertIslandCondiment · 20/01/2023 13:39

I'm surprised the 6th form lads haven't said something to him.

The Police have been 'trained'.

He needs to be barred from going near these schools or the pupils and if he ignores that then he should be arrested.

The police don't have the power to bar him.i think there would need to be a court issued restraining order which would take time and also the judge would need to believe he was a danger

The handmaidens and apologists seem to be emerging from their pits. Hold your positions ladies!

Yep. You know those women who are in the news because they’ve been in a relationship with some pedo man, and have helped him hide his crimes etc? That’s exactly the type of women we’re seeing here - handmaidens above everything.

workiskillingme · 20/01/2023 13:42

I'm sorry but I no longer trust the police to reassure me which perverted men are a risk to girls and women

Or write to weirdos in prison and fall in love.

You are either being very naive or due to some ulterior motive are willfully telling parents to ignore their instincts over a man who is clearly a pervert.

So what do you think they should do?

Keep asking him to leave, complaining to the school, calling the police etc?
As none of those things have worked so far.

He is obviously doing it for a reason and enjoying the attention it brings him.

And when that reason ultimately leads to him losing control and doing something terrible, what then ? You need to ask yourself why the police aren’t taking any action, because if they really wanted to, they could find a reason under the Public Order Act. But they won’t because they know the trans lobby will be waiting in the wings and they don’t want any more adverse publicity than they already have.

You’re right, this man is obviously doing it for a reason - he’s getting his jollies in public and he thinks he’s untouchable. One way or another I don’t think it’ll be long before he’s proved wrong.

If the police have looked into it, then it’s possible that he has MH condition that has him thinking he is a school girl.

So touched in the head, not a sexual predator. They used to lock the mentally unwell into asylums, but as they are harmless they just have them in the community and we are supposed to sort of look out for them.

If he were a risk to himself or others, I think the police would have sectioned him.

'The rapist' and 'bastard Dave' are affectionate nicknames, they admire and celebrate these men for their ability to get away with doing whatever they please and in plain sight.

It's easy, these days, to get the impression that the lads will all stick together, no matter what they do. Witness the weirdos and pervert apologists here trying to make it seem like a man dressing as a schoolgirl, skulking around a school, following girls onto a bus and taking photos of them is some kind of a victim.

ShakespearesBlister · 20/01/2023 13:44

StarCourt · 20/01/2023 13:33

But really, does he have mental issues? He is cognisant enough to be able to source 2 different school uniforms, wear the correct uniform outside the correct school at the correct time for the kids coming out and then get on the bus and presumably pay correctly to travel.

Of course that assumes that people with mental issues have little or no cognisance, which just isn't always the case. He could have a freedom pass. He could have worked in school clothing supplies in the past. As weird as this is, there are too many unknowns. What does seem clear is the police are certain that he is not committing any offence and is not a sexual risk to children. Obviously the police have not exactly shown themselves the best judge of character but if we just embark on witch hunts fuelled by hysteria that's when people's homes get burned down because the neighbours found out they were a Pediatrician. I'm more inclined to think this is a manifestation of some sort of mental illness and his family will be utterly mortified when they realise what their elderly relative has been doing.

2023pending · 20/01/2023 13:45

Great. Let’s tell our children to make sure they look out for the dirty pervs and nonces in society as they have MH problems. And if a man dressed as a girl is acting in a way that makes you uncomfortable then just deal with it as they’re vulnerable. I love progression in society

StephanieSuperpowers · 20/01/2023 13:45

Yeah, and maybe he got knocked on the head, fell into the sea and thinks he's the little mermaid. Any other possible excuses? Why are people so keen to give any explanation for this other than the one it definitely is, that he's a pervert who is using dressing as a schoolgirl and hanging around a school for sexual arousal?

Yep, #BeKind girls and compliment him on his uniform, invite him round for a play date, be “inclusive” 🤮

Given that he’s obtained the female uniforms of three schools, hung around by the school gates of all three, ridden the school buses and taken photos of the children, I can’t imagine any judge believing he wasn’t a danger. No-one in authority seems to be questioning this mans’ motives, or considering what will happen once the thrill of wearing the uniforms in public and mingling with the children wears off and he needs something more to get his jollies.

""There's an awful lot of hysteria and speculation on this thread. Can anyone explain the sex offending here as it seems even the police can't find any evidence? I'm minded of the pitchfork brigades who think that being homosexual means that adult men want to have sex with pre pubescent little boys. This is weird. Even creepy and perverse but it sounds more like some silly old man with mental issues making a fool of himself. Unless of course just dressing in school uniform constitutes a sexual offense in itself. If some of the people on this thread ever get called up to do jury service hopefully they will ask to be excused in case they find someone guilty of sex offending because they they used to be a Pediatrician...""

Ah, so concerned parents are pitchfork waving lynch mobs.
A man dressed up in a schoolgirls uniform is perfectly innocent.
Following girls home on the bus is fine.
Taking their photographs is absolutely normal.

Again, trying to piggyback this behaviour onto the whole "gay rights" thing is a common tactic to try to make people feel bad, it's been done time and time again.
"This is weird" - so its the PARENTS who are weird, not the fetishistic man.

Got it.

Welcome to 2023.

Afternoon everyone. We understand why folk want to discuss this subject but can we point out that we've had to delete a fair few personal attacks and troll hunting posts along with posts advocating violence towards a person who has been pictured online. Please do bear our TGs in mind when posting. Thanks all.

TherebytheGraceofGodgoI · 20/01/2023 13:48

I haven’t read all the thread, but of course this is an offence. In fact I think there are a few to choose from.
Public order offences
Public Nuisance
Breach of the peace
Harassment

Parmavi0lets · 20/01/2023 13:48

The police can 100% move people like this along. There was a man described by parents as looking "homeless " (yes, much to pick apart there) seen hanging around outside my kids' school (standard state primary).

Police started to patrol the area and parents were asked to report further sightings.

Well as we already know our justice system and our police are anti-woman and anti-safeguarding. If the police need to be called everyday to remove this man then that is what should happen.
