To think stating your pronouns is redundant?

I’m referring to email signatures. When for example you’re female with an obvious feminine name. It seems a bit performative in my opinion.

If however your name is Michelle and you state in your signature he/him then great thanks for letting me know so I can refer to you correctly without offensive as I would have just assumed she/her.

How on earth did we all manage for hundreds of years without pronouns🤷‍♀️

When I left school back in the 70s I don’t think I even knew what the word pronoun meant. It was probably mentioned in English Language class but in one ear out the other. It’s such an overused word now, like authentic or organic, sick of the sound and mention of them.

You're quite funny really.

ArianahX · 18/01/2023 19:40

I don't see any problem if someone likes to mention their pronouns.. it's not something I personally do but each to their own.

Well problems exist whether you are aware of them or not, like in this case.

findmybalance · 18/01/2023 19:51

Theres not really a problem though. People just dont like it, like everything else in life.

ArianahX · 18/01/2023 20:04

But it's not a problem

I'm sorry, did you not understand when I told you that you not understanding the problem doesn't mean there isn't a problem?
It IS a problem.

No sorry Call, us mere mortals are far to too stupid to understand superior beings like yourself, wise one.

We didnt. you have them. We all do. We always have done.

People want to state them or use different ones and seemingly educated women lose their shit. Its pathetic.

You knew perfectly well that the poster meant the whole performance of ‘stating pronouns’ not just pronouns in language @findmybalance 🙄

And I also think you know perfectly well why ‘educated women lose their shit’ - gender ideology shits on women and girls from a great height and ‘pronouns’ are just the tip of the iceberg…

What is truly pathetic is those grown adults that ‘announce’ pronouns and pretend to go along with this perverse and insidious religion that believes humans can actually change sex.

Oh bless, you've got the wrong end of the stick yet again! I'm not saying I'm superior, the vast majority of the posters on here are well able to understand the discussion.
It's really just you and one or two others that just can't grasp even the basics. Don't feel bad. Just ask for help and we can teach you.

  1. none of your business 2) none of hour business.

Is there a reason that three of you all dive in together to posts that werrnt addressed to you, while cheering each other on for nasty, rude remarks about peoples IQ? Do you usually behave like playground bullies?

Good assumption, as I find bullies generally struggle with tbe phrase 'none of your business '. You know, boundaries.

You really are fabulously unhinged.
