To not be able to understand people that don't drink mineral water.
To be put off by those that drink other things. Excluding coffee/ tea alcohol sometimes.

I'm not following. You dislike people who drink anything other than water, tea, coffee and alcohol?

Of course people prefer coffee and tea and alcohol over mineral water. Why are you surprised by that?

I don't understand why one drinks water out of plastic as it tastes awful..plastic taste. Tap water tastes fresh...there a couple of countries in UK it doesn't but most are amazing. Yabu

Not sure what you're getting at. Water is water to me, seems pointless spending money on something supposedly 'purer' that's bottled in plastic and a hugely polluting industry. Tea and coffee are 99.9% h20.
On the other hand I don't understand why so many people drink diet cola drinks - taste vile, proven bad for you. clearly addictive.

I don't drink mineral water because I don't want to contribute to more plastic waste, and our tap water is perfectly potable.

I sort of agree, I don't really understand people who live on sweetened cold drinks all day as an alternative to water. Seems like such a waste of money and easy way to stack on weight.

But why mineral water, OP? What's wrong with free water from the tap? Added bonus, no packaging and waste.

I don't like flat tap water, give me fizzy water any date. As I don't want to add to the plastic waste we got a water carbonator a couple of years back.

I still like the taste of juice, lemonade and the odd coke.

Coke/ lemonade is ok oddly enough.

I bought a water filter jug 30 years ago and haven't looked back. Have also got a Sodastream to make fizzy water.

Two reasons: one, I don't drive so would have to lug water from the shop and 2. I don't want to contribute to waste single-use plastic.

I hate fruit juice so I find it difficult to be compatible with those that drink it.
Am I weird that I want to be friends/ date someone that also only likes mineral water and never mixes it?

@StrawHatOnTheParcelShelf that's an odd way of thinking about drinks. Do you feel the same about food? Eating anything but salad is a waste of money and you will "stack on" weight? 😁
People have different tastes OP, I find some things awful that others are fond of. More of the things I like for me. Doesn't make me think any less of people. That's not a normal reaction I dont think.

It’s important to pair your drink with your food, as important as selecting the correct kind of chips.

Ok slightly less weird. I'd find it difficult to have a close relationship with someone that hardly drank water and instead drank fruit juices throughout the day.
