Why do they have to be plastered with make up and have those funny inflated lips. Even Karen Brady is caked on.

Its always glam and styled but I don’t care much for the fake pumped look that most had this year.

It's such an unpleasant look - the inflated lips and caked on eyebrows. Such a shame that these young women feel pressurised to appear a certain way on TV - like caricatures of women. I think there is only one young woman looking natural within this year's cohort.

This is absolutely what I don't get. It's embarrassing to be on this, they rightly get the piss ripped out of them every year. I don't get it.

So they were all told in the boardroom that they were going to Antigua. Next shot is them on the beach in the same dresses, carrying their high heels, trying to sell trips en masse to tourists. Why on earth weren't they allowed to change their clothes?

It's because none of them have any friends. A friend would tell them, "Brick dust coloured foundation, clownish eyebrows and most of all, saveloy lips really don't look good."

Its refreshing to see that 1 natural looking one.

The rest just 💋 and caked on contoured make up.

Their dress sense seems really outdated too. Do businesswomen still totter about in high heels and wear those daft pencil skirts?

I find it weird we're getting to a stage where in real life heels are starting to look quite dated and rejected in the work place (I know I know not everyone) but on the Apprentice they go into full Barbie mode. It's hard to take them seriously.

Not sure why they want to make women look so 'pretty' when we are focusing on business acumen and professionals.

Very controlling.

Is it the BBC producers making them conform.

It's more the expectation that young women conform to a certain artificial look that is being explored and commented on rather than individual appearance. There is certainly a look that is being cloned across all the women (bar one) on the show whereas the men seem to be able to retain some individuality. I think that's worthy of comment?

They are all so young and naturally and individually good looking, none of the cosmetic enhancements are needed, it looks like stage makeup.
