My 15 year old is revising.

My 10 year old is vacuuming her bedroom.

My 9 year old is making New Years Day cards for the neighbours. (Don't ask!)

I'm sat on the sofa eating custard and cake. 😁

Dinner in slow cooker for later, washer and dishwasher on, house clean. Dog walked and played with and snoring next to me. I'm watching death in paradise, drinking Baileys and contemplating a nap

We all got up late , I made pancakes for us all. Done some washing and tidying up, DH and DD2 have gone shops to get some bits for this evening, we have been invited to our neighbours for a few drinks early evening. Need to get showered and changed but am currently on the sofa eating the last few leftover chocs from the celebrations tin.

My mum and I are drinking coffee and looking at a map of Cambridge - DB has just been diagnosed with cancer and will be treated at Addenbrooks.

Dropped DD1 at station to return to London home for New Years Eve party.
Dropped DD2 at boyfriends to spend night with him.
DH is making a model of a WW2 bomber, engrossed in glue and paint.
I'm on MN, drinking tea, and also monitoring mountain of post Xmas washing.

DH is watching Treason on his tablet in the kitchen

DD10 and ds9 are playing roblox on their laptops in their bedrooms shouting instructions at each other

I am procrastinating on MN when i should have a shower and do a couple of hours school work!

DD1 has just been to visit with newborn grandson 🥰
DD2 leaving soon to go back to her current abode, she’s going out.
After complaining for years that we never do anything on New Years Eve I have to get ready soon to go to a ‘do’ in a pub. Don’t want to go now 😂

We’re out with friends for a curry tonight. I’ve just had a long bath whilst DH watched Zulu. We’re now tucked on the sofa relaxing - I’m on MN whilst DH is watching the football scores come in on Sky Sports before he goes and has his shower. I’ve just got to straighten my hair, make up on and get dressed before our friends come round at 6.30 for pre-dinner drinks so have a bit of lounging time yet.

I'm having a glass of wine, DS is practicing guitar and DH is trying to unblock the bathroom sink that has suddenly blocked up 🙄. We're off out to a party at 7 so I'm pre-drinking so I spend less 😂

Waiting for DH to get back from the food shop and just been informed he's spent £190 on ONE WEEK's worth of food. I want to cry. I have no idea how he's managed that.

DS5 is in his room doing something or other.

DD5 is sitting at the dining room table colouring a "design a christmas bauble" thing she got in her stocking.
