My 15 year old is revising.

My 10 year old is vacuuming her bedroom.

My 9 year old is making New Years Day cards for the neighbours. (Don't ask!)

I'm sat on the sofa eating custard and cake. 😁

I neither know or care... I'm at work, while DH and DC are at home

I have just been for a run and have made two pies for our NYE party tonight. DD13 is doing some homework, DS15 is still asleep, DH is pottering and PIL are reading the paper.

Blitzing the house of all the Christmas mess and decorations are coming down!

Teen dd is at work, I'm sat on the sofa watching Emma when I should be clearing up the house 🤦‍♀️

Just finished a wet dog walk. DH is prepping the NYE curry for a few friends tonight. Twins are wafting around. DD1 is revising before she goes to work at 6..

I’m having a bath. Not sure about everyone else -DS probably in bed, DH doing some watch mending/fixing and DD maybe in bed or doing something else. DCat probably asleep on a sofa

DH is out getting his haircut and 1 year old is napping on me whilst I half watch the Traitors on catch up.

I've just got back from parkrun and post parkrun cafe socialising. I've made a gammon and coleslaw sandwich for lunch using up some Xmas leftovers, and later I'm making bolognese in the slow cooker xx

It's not long ago that I worked in hospitality so never had Saturdays off, I'm loving having my weekends back after switching jobs.

I'm on sofa eating brie, grapes and crackers. Mildly allergic but I have to eat it god dammit, it's too nice to pass.

Youngest DS eating toast (doesn't want anything else). He wants to see dad who is at work today. I've just text mum asking how she's feeling as she wasn't well. She's feeling better.

Older DS playing with the gerbils upstairs, I'm letting him be "responsible" and secretly hoping they don't escape again.

DD is complaining she has crumbs in her bed but it's her problem if she's going to eat crisps in bed. She'll learn.

I'm cooking for tonight. We have friends coming over. DH is cleaning out his car ready for taxi duty and the dogs are pacing restlessly hoping for dropped scraps and wondering what the hell is going on. Once DH has finished the car he will be putting the Hoover round.

We’ve been out for a massive breakfast; now going to spend afternoon playing Arkham horror before champagne and steak

Hopefully nothing. If there is, then someone's broken in .... unless of course my doll and her friends are taking advantage of the fact that I'm out and are having a party 🤔

It's 8.36pm in my part of the world (Perth). I've just finished stuffing my face with licorice while watching some reality show on Netflix.

DH is on his way home from work and we shall wait up to see in the New Year. We have a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge and some strawberries as a treat ourselves later. We are more than happy to have a quiet night in these days.

I can't believe we have just under 3.5 hours until 2023.

DH is out getting alcohol for the NYE party at our village hall tonight.

DS(13) is still asleep! But I’m leaving him as long as possible as we had a party at ours last night and didn’t go to be til 2am and it’ll probably be even later tonight.

The dog is fast asleep as he also partied hard with us last night and went crazy in the puddles on the field in our walk.

I’ve tidied up after the party, walked the dog and am now taking advantage of the peace and doing my nails ready for tonight whilst developing my fake tan.

Everyone is wearing pyjamas, kids are playing with toys and husband is having a bath.

Mum and I are on my bed watching Judge Judy - we lost my nana (her mum) on Boxing Day so we have been taking it very slow.

Watching Man United game but looking at a massive pile of washing up that needs to be done....

DH has taken DDs who are feeling better to park with BIL. I’m here with littlest two, feeling sorry for ourselves! I can’t shift this flu type virus. Cancelled plans for tonight, so we will order in takeaway and watch a film before bed.

Husband is having a bad day with his chronic condition so is off to lie down.
Toddler is napping.
I am eating noodles and looking at the shit tip that is my living room. Need to clean up soon!

Very lazy day today.

DS is in his room watching some rubbish on YouTube.
Baby is having a nap and I'm in bed beside her.
DH is outside with a roofer getting our leaky roof fixed.

I've started taking down the Christmas decorations this morning but will leave the tree up for another couple of days.
