Is this Louis Vuitton bag chav or nice?

Opinions please! Ignore my outfit I'm aware it doesn't match lol but considering this bag - if I get it I would wear with simplistic outfits but what do you think?

DH thinks it's disgusting (not the design but the print because of its connotations) but want to know if he's outnumbered or not!

Indeed! How thick does someone have to be to assume that a designer/expensive bag outside London is a fake 🤦‍♀️

I have many expensive bags, including some LV and not only do I not live in London, I actually live in, get this, rural Ireland. And sometimes, like today, I wear inexpensive clothes while farting my expensive bags. Stereotypes are a waste of time.

If I see LV etc... in a nice area, of London say, then fair enough. Anywhere else, I assume it’s a fake.

I have a small brown leather bag I bought in a charity shop for a couple of quid that a phone, keys, lipstick and travelcard/bank card fits into perfectly. Combined with the rest of me, it's completely nondescript, but it felt 'nice' rather than like plastic.

I had to go somewhere for a work thing one day. A woman asked me 'Where did you get that from?'.

Appears that it isn't actually a random cheap leather bag, it's a very, very old Gucci. Think it's under the bed somewhere at the moment - all I need day to day is my phone with cardholder and my work lanyard with doorkey attached, and for those, I have pockets and a beltloop.

I don't like it, really not keen on branding like that, looks try hard. Would also automatically assume its fake!

@chocolateasaltyballs22 love the monogram print and vachetta leather is just a gorgeous pairing. I received the Graceful for Xmas. Will be using it as a workbag (I work in the City). I'm especially amused by these comments, given that most monogram bags sell out really quickly and there are actual waiting lists for these bags that mumsnet loathes so much.

Doesn't that just demonstrate that you don't know how to identify the real thing? It's hardly "try hard" if it's genuine!

Ah I have the graceful too, but in damier ebene. It's also my work bag, although I don't go into the office much these days. It's a great bag though, still love it. Much less common than the neverfull.

As LV still make the monogram print it’s obviously popular or they would drop it.

Doesn’t make it classy though. Just profitable for them.

I personally always buy lv bags however I prefer the Damier pattern only because I always see my relatives with the lv patterns and they are always from turkey so I always assume they’re fakes even if they’re not x
