My neighbour has one of these dogs, which to be fair I always on a lead, but I’m so bloody scared of it when I am out walking my dog. He says it’s friendly and our dogs have sniffed each other and he while on leads, but I just feel so uneasy. I feel that if he slipped and that dog got loose it would be such a danger to everyone around. The area I live in is mainly families with young children and I just can’t understand why someone would get this kind of dog?

I understand all dogs can be aggressive, but all dogs don’t have this power and muscle that means they can easily kill!

Here we go tainting every owner and dog with the same brush. I've met many, many Bullies recently and all of them were soft as. However, I still think dogs on leads at all times, proper licencing, microchipping and insurance should be mandatory. The owners need to be held accountable.

Until they’re not, and that’s where the danger lies. Don’t be so naive @Fireandflames666

Rubbish. I grew up in the countryside and I was fine being around cows and sheep. Partly because they cool, chill animals and partly because they don't savage children, animals and elderly people just for bloody sneezing.

Why are you keeping an animal that was bred to fight and attack as a pet? Why do you think you're different to the vast numbers of owners/ dog trainers that said exactly the same thing about their dogs/ this breed before this canine ripped a child to shreds or disembollowed a man on the street?

You and your choice of - hopefully soon to be illegal dog - don't rule public spaces. Other people - most of whom don't want to share the streets and parks with your and your dog - have a right to go about their business without feeling scared or being attacked.
