Has anyone got this awful cough?

I feel terrible, I’m coughing so hard that I’m weeing, I feel like my head is going to explode and it’s making me retch! Is there anything that works to calm it down?! I’m at my wits end

Ah glad it helped. Just taking once a day at night for a few days should be ok.

So sorry that so many of us have been struggling with this 😓 I went back to work on Tuesday and struggled through to Friday with the help of lots of lucozade. The cough isn’t a huge problem now but when I do cough I get a pain in my head, like around my eye. I also keep falling asleep, I fell asleep on the sofa about 7pm last night, woke up at 9.30, went to bed but couldn’t sleep so read for a couple of hours. Got up at 7am today then I fell asleep on the sofa about 10am and woke up at 1.

What’s going on?! (I will add that on Wednesday night I was in urgent care til 2.30am with my 14 year old who they diagnosed with pleurisy - maybe I’m just catching up still?)

Just wondered how everyone is now? I’ve started with an annoying tickly cough again, surely not this again 😩😩😩

I posted last month about my chest infection/cough. I finally got over that and then started feeling ropey again a week past Thursday (so 11 days ago or so). I took a covid test out of habit and it was positive - the first time ever. I'm fully vaccinated but it has been a really rough ride and I'm stuck with a tickly cough that is driving me bonkers.

I also ended up testing positive for Covid. Still have tickly cough. Was reading that LFTs aren't great at picking up new strains.

My cough was absolutely exhausting…turned into a phlegmy cough . Coughed up every colour inc blood stained absolutely horrific….am better now finally!

I'm almost over it. Still the occasional rattle in my chest, still coughing up tiny bits of mucus. Am assuming it was COVID but who knows.
