I have, however, seen women who are advocating for women's basic human rights and our single sex spaces. These 'older women' were probably part of the feminist movement who fought for all the rights you now enjoy, that are now at threat, because some young and shallow girls take for granted the rights the feminists gave them and don't want to see women forced to get naked in front of a man with an intact penis in a jail or change room. Maybe the problem is the current generation don't respect the hard work feminists put in for them to be so shallow and take it all for granted and not stopping to think, having no experience of age, how easily it can be taken away from us, and they'd rather knife their own elder sisters all to placate mens feelings. Do you and your mother realise that? It seems that you have absolutely no idea of what is going on. Just recently a woman who desperately needed a bowel operation had her operation cancelled because she wanted a female-only nurse. For what ever reason, be it her being a victim of trauma.
Until 5 years ago, when the radical gender ideology poison took hold, that right was taken as read. You could also request a female only doctor or nurse for a pap smear.

Since men have started to self-ID as women (90+% of trans women retain their penis and testicles), it is no longer legal in the NHS to request a female only nurse or doctor. Did you know that?

Did you know that Muslim women are hence, avoiding seeking treatment? Or that Muslim women and other women are no longer participating in society much because there is no longer female-only facilities, toilets, etc? Some women have said on here they refuse to use the unisex toilets at work and restrict their fluids so they don't have to go, and hold on all day. Risking a UTI which can turn into sepsis quickly, or cystitis. Did you know that?

Did you know that 2 years ago a 5 year old boy was molested and raped by an older male, who subsequently chose to self-ID as a woman just before the trial, and that 5 year old was told they had to commit perjury - they had to say they were raped by a woman, and not a man. Is that a line that you will finally acknowledge the radicalisation of trans ideology hurts women and children, especially women and children of ethnic minorities - all for the sake of mens 'feelings'?

Did you know that in the last month, a trans woman (still with their penis and testicles) attacked a man in jail. They then removed this violent offender and put them in.....with the women instead. Did you know that? Do you think that's fair? Do you think it's fair that women in jails have said they have to undress in communal showers with trans women who have their penis and testicles?

See, I used to be like you, until I realised what was really going on. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. It's obvious to me that you, like I once was, did not know what is really going on or just how widespread this is. It's not about being 'pro-trans' or 'anti-trans', it's about fighting for vulnerable women and the safeguarding and rights our feminist fore-elders fought for. It's about fighting to retain our rights we fought blood sweat and tears for, our biological vulnerable reality, over men's feelings. That's what it's about. Womens basic human survival. I urge you to read more on FWR because it's clear you mean well but you have absolutely no idea what is going on and just how people have been brainwashed and radicalised to ignore womens rights just for a males feelings.

I doubt she knows any of this. She's probably just seen the level of vitriol and abuse levelled at JKR et al and assumed that there wouldn't be such outrage if she hadn't said something truly offensive and hateful, even if nobody has ever managed to find and quote it. It's an old smear tactic, ancient even.

She thinks we give a shit about how people dress and name themselves.

I do agree with your post @IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 except by indirectly agreeing that the "anti-trans" stuff is the older women, you're falling into their trap. Imo the pro women posters here on MN are far from one age range, there are plenty of younger women (including me as slightly younger, but also a lot of women who are younger again!) who respect our feminist foremothers and are always on the side of pro-woman.

Knowing what a woman is isn't limited by age. The younger adults I know laugh at the 100 genders of tumblr.
