@FayeGovan you are not funny.

Everyone else that clearly don’t want to say this invaluable personal information , you don’t need to post in an aggressive way like you are 5 years old.

I certainly didn’t come here to brag and I think my salary is average.

I hate these threads where people say what they earn and they think they earn “average”.

I earn 33k. I’m in my mid-50s. Work full time. Media.

medicatedgift · 20/11/2022 19:22

Let's not.

You know perfectly well your salary isn’t average. A basic internet search can tell you that. You earn a lot more than average.

I bet you are super! In every workplace I have been employed, the cleaners have always been the nicest people. Positions and salaries mean nothing when you are considering basic human decency.

Your salary isn't average. You can just Google 'average salary uk' to know that. You're just bragging. You earn a decent salary. Well done. Is that what you wanted?

CreepyPasta · 20/11/2022 19:29

This time last year £72k as Head of HR in the private sector

Now - £27k HR Admin for a charity

The drop in salary was worth getting my life back!

Anusername · 20/11/2022 19:30

It really also depends on where you live no? The average salary in London is much higher

Believeinyou · 20/11/2022 19:30

But 2 years ago I was earning £40k. No children.

OgdensGoneNutFlake · 20/11/2022 19:32

Well I think it's interesting and not a braggy thread. It always surprises me which sectors are higher and lower than expected.
39, Art Technician, would be approx £24k if I was full time.
