The weird stuff about Mcd’s

Anyone else think it’s just odd food at McDonald’s?
It tastes so bloody good…like magic good…what is in the mayo type sauce etc 🤷🏻‍♀️
But…why does it fill you up, then an hour later you’re hungry again etc?
For example, Burger King is good also, but it proper fills me up and feels like proper food, Mcds doesn’t but it tastes so good 😫

I'm like that with Burger King.

Burger king not macdonalds but before I went veggie, I always have a horrible sore stomach the day after Burger King. The veggie version doesn't do that though so it must have been something in the meat patte. Unfortunately I hate macdonalds veggie burger so I've stopped eating there. Going to miss the bacon double cheeseburgers but hey-ho.

YABU - McDonald's has really gone downhill imo. Had a cheeseburger yesterday and it tasted like crap, make me feel bleurgh and unsatisfied in every way.

Had a Whopper the other day and it was great. BK & KFC > McDonald's for sure!

Tbh I don't hate that idea.

Because it’s ultra processed.
i always wanted another filet after my filet meal for this reason.
I don’t eat it any more.,

I get the shits about 15 minutes after each McDonalds without fail. Still eat it though

Funnily enough I've never actually eaten a KFC. I don't get the appeal of fried chicken. I feel the same about sushi though. Just, blah.

Keeps me really full but then I do go for 20 nuggets just for me, with chips as well and maybe a milkshake. I'd be impressed with anyone hungry an hour after that.

Personally I have to disagree. Having generally only been to McDonalds after a night out previously, I succumbed and went to one for lunch recently. This one was also a drive through, and I regularly pass the congestion it causes on the main road with cars queuing, when on my way home. The food was so bland and depressing, I actively thought about the wasted calories as I chomped though my sad little burger. I think there's much better and more satisfying food out there for the same price.
