To ask how many radiators you have in your house?

Just read a thread where someone has 16 in a 4 bed house, several people were shocked they had so many. So how many do you have and what size house?

3 bedroom 3 storey house here with 16 radiators so I don’t think the same amount in a 4 bed is a lot but maybe my house has above average number of radiators.

1 hallway downstairs
2 middle floor landing one each end hallway is long and wide 4mx2.5m
2 middle floor back bedroom
1 middle floor bathroom

19 in a 4 bed here. Including 2 X bathroom towel rails.

I started by thinking it was 16 but then thinking round each room, found 3 more!

16 in a five bedroom three storey semi which is 12 years old.

3 bed 4 storey terrace, I have 10, or 11 if you count the unplumbed one that's sat in the spare room for a year because it's too big to get down the stairs 😄

These numbers seem massive! One in hall, large one in living/dining room, heated towel rail in bathroom and one in each of the proper bedrooms. I have an attic c8nversion too but it doesn’t t have one. So 5 in a 3 bed house. It’s perfectly warm, and the one in my bedroom is never even in.

15 in a 5 bedroomed house. We don't have one in our bedroom or the kitchen. The others are mainly turned right down, apart from the living room and bathrooms as the bedrooms aren't used so much now the children have moved out.

12 in a four bed house.

I recently had a new heating system throughout (new purchase of a do-er upper) gas man suggested 1 per room, 2 each in the kitchen, largest bedroom and living room, and the size of the boiler to ensure efficient heating.

16 here too. 4 beds.

16 in a four bed too here!

12 in a 4 bed:

• 1 in the hallway
• 2 in the living room
• 1 in the downstairs toilet
• 1 in the kitchen
• 1 in each of 4 bedrooms
• 1 in the airing cupboard
• 1 in each of two bathrooms

This is really interesting! We are in a brand new 3-bed, 3 storey house, and we have 7 radiators and 2 heated towel rails.

Surely It depend on the size of radiators and the size of rooms

I have 13 radiators for 11 rooms but some of them are very small (and need replacing).

I forgot the house size, it's 3200sq ft on 2 floors, 1930s.

2 bed terrace. 5 radiators. Plenty.

1 in each room. Bathrooms only have towel rails so am including them. None in kitchen or hall as arguing about style still.

So 9 spread over 10 rooms. 3 storey house.

6 in a 2 bed semi
2 of them are small

But none in the bathroom wahhhh

16 but big house

13 in our 4-bed.
