To ask how many radiators you have in your house?

Just read a thread where someone has 16 in a 4 bed house, several people were shocked they had so many. So how many do you have and what size house?

3 bedroom 3 storey house here with 16 radiators so I don’t think the same amount in a 4 bed is a lot but maybe my house has above average number of radiators.

1 kitchen
1 downstairs wet room
2 living room
1 hallway downstairs
2 middle floor landing one each end hallway is long and wide 4mx2.5m
2 middle floor back bedroom
1 middle floor bathroom
1 middle floor front bedroom
1 3rd floor landing
2 3rd floor bedroom
1 en-suite
1 dressing room

It seems as if newer houses have more radiators

this house was built in the early 1920’s

but they have converted the garage, extended the living room, added bathrooms etc

the master bedroom rads are very small and on each side of the bed and we added an extra radiator to the dining room for aesthetics when we moved last year

and ive even managed to bore myself 😀

We took advice from our builders. They were spot on with sizes needed too.
Basically 1 in every room except the biggest which has two.

Lots of people seem to have far more radiators than I do. My last house was a large period house with 3 downstairs reception rooms and 8 metre long hall and upstairs landing. I had 8 radiators.
My current house had 8 with the loft conversion but the downstairs extension has 4. It seems as if newer houses have more radiators.

We have 20 rads in an early Edwardian (plus 2x wood burners)

Am I really the only person with 0 radiators? Surely not everyone has central heating. We have a log burner downstairs and keep the doors open. I run a dehumidifier at the top of the stairs and with the walls all insulated we are warm. We have a calor gas stove for really really cold weather.

4 bedrooms , 2 storey detached and we have 14 radiators , mostly large doubles except in the bathrooms which are singles .

I am genuinely impressed.
