AIBU to think this is not tat

Recently purchased this rather gorgeous glass and metal pineapple from our local charity shop. I love it, but DH thinks it's ugly tat. Obviously he's wrong and has no appreciation for it's beauty. Maybe you lovely MN'ers can settle this argument for me.

It's definitely... kitsch, but I quite like it. It would work as the kitsch centrepiece to an otherwise pared-back decor 😉
