Don't flame me for this - just an observation

I work in conveyancing and I have noticed a huge upsurge in people from England trying to sell up and move to Scotland. I know they will get more for their money up there but someone today and yesterday were total pissed off the Government. I am sure it works both ways and there is an influx to England but has anyone noticed a difference - particularly people from London especially.

I think what a lot of non-Scots forget is Scots have a zero tolerance policy on arseholes irrespective of their accent.

Currently live in rural Surrey. Love it here but DH and I crave beautiful isolation in our retirement and plan on relocating to the Highlands when the time comes. I don’t like the hot summers that we have in the South so Scotland would suit me down to the ground.

My two BF in work are American and English respectively (Scottish partners so are here permanently). Neither are arseholes, so they fit in perfectly.

Maybe not then…just thought it was a nice house.
