To wonder why everyone likes mcdonalds?

Walked past today. Very long queues. Maybe half term, but then they always seem to be busy.

What is the big attraction?

I don't like them.

I used to get a craving for one every 12-18 months. My nearest Macdonalds is 7 miles away, and the craving wasn't bad enough for me to do a 14 mile round trip, but it would last for weeks, until I actually had one.

Then I would find I didn't really like them, and wouldn't get that craving again for ages.

I think I may be cured of it now though. The last time I had one was on the way back from having my first Covid jab in Jan 21, and on that occasion I found it distinctly unpleasant, rather than just a bit meh, and I haven't wanted one since.
