As title really. Just wondering if, on an anonymous basis, the results here would reflect what I’m hearing around me in real life.

Would you personally like to see Boris return to being PM?

YABU - yes
YANBU - no

(There’s no bias in the choice of which is unreasonable - I just had to pick one!)

TheHappiestChristmasTree · 22/10/2022 11:14

KangarooKenny · 22/10/2022 11:13

Wasn’t there a similar party for Labour ?

That wasn't the question was it. The question was specifically re Boris.

MeghansBitch · 22/10/2022 11:15

Fuck no I would rather have a one night stand with him then see him the PM again and believe me that is desperate measures.

Iwanttoslowdown · 22/10/2022 11:15

No. We need a General Election and get the grown ups in.

ShanghaiDiva · 22/10/2022 11:15

No to Boris.

WhereYouLeftIt · 22/10/2022 11:16

Fuck no! Anyone thinking he's a viable option has a very short memory.

BreadInCaptivity · 22/10/2022 11:17

Absolutely not and I can't fathom why anyone would.

He's still under investigation FFS.

The Tory MP's backing him are a bloody disgrace who are playing with the future stability of the country to further their own ambitions.

I'm furious.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 22/10/2022 11:18

Fuck no for many reasons but most particularly

  1. he doesn’t want to come back because he thinks he can solve the enormous problems we face, he wants to come back as a massive fuck you to the Tories who got rid of him
  2. he only backed Brexit because he thought it was his route to power. He doesn’t really believe in it, he just wanted to be PM. He’s a lying narcissistic cunt
xalo · 22/10/2022 11:20

Just want him to get enough votes to block out Mordaunt.

xalo · 22/10/2022 11:20

Risky though

MagpiePi · 22/10/2022 11:20
  • they think he will offer stability as he knows how to do the job and can just slot back in - he'll slot right back in to feathering his own and his buddies' nests and change any rule he can that lets them get away with sleazey behaviour
  • things were better when he was PM - I suppose you could agree with this considering the shit show we are in at the moment, but it wasn't because of him.
  • he did well with covid - the NHS did well with covid in spite of him. Tbf, he was spending a lot of time pissed up and partying, so maybe that it was a good thing that limited his meddling.

I'd have to go with a no for Boris Johnson

Slowgrowingelm · 22/10/2022 11:20

No. Are people memories so damn short?

user1494050295 · 22/10/2022 11:20

FayeGovan · 22/10/2022 11:06

Well none of them are.

We are being governed by idiots out for themselves.

Oxford educated…. Hi

HRTQueen · 22/10/2022 11:22

No

the country deserves better from our PM

MagpiePi · 22/10/2022 11:22

@Theeyeballsinthesky

He’s a lying narcissistic cunt

Bit harsh on liars, narcissists and cunts?
😂

Theeyeballsinthesky · 22/10/2022 11:22

😆😆😆 true @MagpiePi

StoneofDestiny · 22/10/2022 11:24

Can’t vote on here (but can’t vote in General Election either as Tory’s won’t call one!

But No - it’s outrageous he is even being considered
Yes - will help independence cause for my country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

IntentionalError · 22/10/2022 11:26

I voted yes, not because I’m a Boris fan, far from it, but because I want the Tories to lose the next election badly, and that is more likely to happen with him as leader than with either Sunak or Mordaunt.

Obviously, I would prefer an election immediately, but in the real world that isn’t going to happen. Unless the Tory party splits, of course, and I don’t think even they are that stupid.

itrytomakemyway · 22/10/2022 11:27

I feel sick at the thought that selfish Tory MPs who care more about the slim chance of hanging onto their seats in the next GE will actually give him the opportunity for a second time.

I was in disbelief when he was selected as PM the first time round. He magaged to even surpirse me with how spectacularly badly he manged to screw that up. It defies belief that even with the knowledge we have about his lying and selfish incompetance he is even being considered now.

user1471505494 · 22/10/2022 11:28

I would like to see Boris back. He was good at making the big decisions. I don’t think this leadership race is the right time for him

PhilistineWazzock · 22/10/2022 11:29

If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.

If they knowingly elect a work-shy corrupt idiot, they are stupid fools. He's no saviour, he's not even a naughty boy - he's a proven liar who only has his own interests at heart. He's a shit MP, he was a shit PM.

itrytomakemyway · 22/10/2022 11:30

What big decisions? What alcohol to serve in his illegal parties? Which cronies to shovel money to for ppa contracts?Which nursing homes should be forced to take covid patients putting the residents and staff at risk?

Seriously - which big decisions did he take? Which did he get right?
