Are these pictures creepy ? Shall I ask my boyfriend to remove them

Hi my partner knows I absolutely love cats especially black cats and he bought me these two canvases however I don’t think these cats look very
friendly!

I mean they are lovely pictures but I find them Very creepy
He has put them on the wall next to our bed
l I’m thinking of asking him to donate them somewhere but am I being unreasonable

Reminds (slightly) of a china cat I was gifted by DH's Nan. I dutifully said nothing and put it out on display. Three years when we were moving I asked him if we could maybe not have it out in the new house. Turns out he hated the fucking thing as well, just thought I liked it. 😆

There isnt a cats chance in hell i would have them in my home they are awful 😂

It’s a bit of a can of worms to make it known you LOVE black cats and are obsessed with them.

My step mum was known to love pigs and everyone started buying her pig related gifts. It all got a bit much and one day I noticed all the pig pictures, ornaments, fridge magnets, doorstops, tea towels weren’t in her house any more. She rarely tells people she likes pigs these days 😂

I'd tell him they are not your thing, or next it will be a wolf fleece for Xmas.....

While im not goth and wouldnt buy these myself (although as previously mentioned have been gifted one before) I almost garantee Im unlikely to like your home decor either but Im smart enough not to realise liking different things in no way correlates to brain power or thinking abilities.

And in modern paganism it is a symbol designating a second degree initiate in Wicca.

The pentagram is used by many religions (including Christianity, there's a non conformist chapel locally that has a pentagram window).

Satanists tend to use other symbology than a simple inverted pentagram.

I can see why people find them creepy. Op’s daughter hates them and I must admit I’d be spooked if I was 7 and these appeared in my mums bedroom!

There’s pagan/wiccan symbols in both of them, pentagram, ram’s horned head etc, depends how you feel about all that.

I had that kinda stuff on my wall when I was 17 but I grew out of it a long time ago 🤣

They are creepy yes, and very tacky too. The whole world of cat art and this is what he comes up with? I adore cats. I do not adore the association of cats with ‘witchcraft’ this is about him think witchy stuff is sexy it has nothing to do with actual cats.
