Are these pictures creepy ? Shall I ask my boyfriend to remove them

Hi my partner knows I absolutely love cats especially black cats and he bought me these two canvases however I don’t think these cats look very
friendly!

I mean they are lovely pictures but I find them Very creepy
He has put them on the wall next to our bed
l I’m thinking of asking him to donate them somewhere but am I being unreasonable

If by creepy you mean hideous then yes they are.

I quite like them but I understand that they're not your taste. Personally I'd go for the "I love them (that's what white lies were invented for" but I get the feeling that they're staring at me and it's unnerving!...Can you move them"

Awww it's a really thoughtful gift but they're terrifying! I wouldn't put them up, imagine waking up in the middle of the night with all those eyes on you. I'd have to leave Friends on a loop.

These are part of a range of cat pictures and there is nothing demonic or witchy about them. Any style of art is personal, the Scream is a popular picture and I have no idea why. My SIL loves black cats and one year I bought her a cat brooch which was gorgeous and expensive. I had never bought her anything cat before. She really upset me when she said that just because she loves cats it doesn't mean that she wants cat items but I had to accept that that was her taste. See if you can find the sort of picture that you would like and tactfully suggest that the pictures he bought are lovely but you feel that they are not your taste and show him what you prefer.

@BeautifulElephant It's a pentagram which is usually associated with devil worship as is an upside-down cross, I don't believe in the devil myself. Black cats are associated with witches. Many people love black cats and I've had a few myself but that doesn't make me, or any of the others, witches, it just means that we have black cats. Pentagrams are just a shape unless you want them to mean something else. A Swastika is a Hindu symbol of good luck until Hitler corrupted it. In other words, the pentagram is a symbol if you want it to be.

Pentagrams have nothing to do with devil worship! They're generally thought of as a sign of protection.

These are Lisa Parker prints,they have no reference to Satan or anything satanic!,I have the whole collection of them in my house as I love her artwork.She does mostly mythical pieces and I have pictures,mugs,throws and the odd notepad.I don't identify as a devil worshipper in the slightest,people often think of witchcraft as evil and devil worshipping when it's completely the opposite,I've never turned any visitor to my house into a frog lol.I agree they are an acquired taste and not everyone is going to like them but me personally I love them!

I'm in the minority too....I think both pictures are gorgeous.

Ofgs a pentagram isn't Satanic, demonic or any other evil symbol! It's used in lots of PEACEFUL religions and spiritual!
But yes OP, I agree- the cats in both pictures are cute, but the first one with the creepy witch is just, well, creepy!
