The ignorance in this thread lol 😂 a Wiccan pentagram is not about the devil.

linsey2581 · 20/10/2022 19:13

I love them 😍 especially the one on the right! If you don’t want them send them my way please x

PeachyPeachTrees · 20/10/2022 20:00

I like them but best you say that you don't before he gets more!

Babysitter12 · 20/10/2022 20:29

Dont be ungrateful, its not his fault he has no taste

LifesTooShortForYourNonsense · 20/10/2022 20:29

Tacky as, but not creepy. Just say they are not your taste.

Rhaenys · 20/10/2022 20:49

They do look like Halloween decorations but I also love them. 😂

bobdylannumber1 · 20/10/2022 21:11

That was very kind of him getting those if you love cats. I love cats really love them but real omws not pictures or ornaments. I don't like them.

AnnieSnap · 20/10/2022 22:41

I don’t think they are creepy and it was clearly a very thoughtful of him to buy you pictures of cats. Maybe just ask if he has the receipt so that you can change them for fluffier cat pictures

Ifeelsuchafool · 20/10/2022 23:08

"Demonic Tiddles and the egg timer of doom"! Grin

However, I positively love them!

Harls1969 · 20/10/2022 23:21

Not to my taste, but I don't find them distasteful and he probably thought he was doing a nice thing. Unless you suspect he's into black magic...🤔

RobertaFirmino · 20/10/2022 23:34

They scream Goth/Wiccan to me and whilst there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, they are an odd gift if you are of neither persuasion.

If you cannot bring yourself to ask him to return them, try and find out why he chose them so you can steer him in the right direction. You are risking decades of crap presents (and quite frankly, these prints are only one step away from a wolf fleece...) otherwise.

Mamanyt · 21/10/2022 00:16

Pity you can't mail them to me. I rather love them.

azimuth299 · 21/10/2022 01:59

He sounds delightfully batshit 😂 at least he is trying to get you a thoughtful present based on your likes!

I think I would laugh and feel indulgently warm towards him every time I saw them, but if you can't cope then there will have to be an accident in a few months. Maybe you tripped with a wine glass and they got covered?

Frances0911 · 21/10/2022 02:01

I have to say, they are awful. Out of all the cat pictures he could have bought, these have to be the worst, and I agree - that ghoul in the background is creepy as!

Oliverfunyuns · 21/10/2022 02:35

Not my taste, either. It can be a bit tricky to buy art for someone else's home, even with the best intentions. He meant well, but you shouldn't have to display things in your home that make you uncomfortable or that you don't like. I think it's best to be gently honest with a boyfriend, partner, or husband. If the relationship goes well, you could be exchanging gifts for many years to come!

ImaginaryDragon · 21/10/2022 07:12

YANBU If my DH hung those by our bed I would interpret it as him stating his intention to sacrifice me in some sort of satatic ritual. I could forgive a gift of 'ugly' art because beauty is subjective, but ominous art, nope! I showed my DH (he is usually clueless about this sort of thing) his response was 'Thats a bit spooky and satanic, what is he trying to tell her?' There is a lot of lovely art cat around so imo this is not a red flag its a whole red flag factory!

scruffball · 21/10/2022 10:29

I kinda like the 2nd one but the first one is creepy. If they’re not to your taste,I would tell him.
Would be great as a Halloween decoration so maybe bring them out once a year 😂

Gosh I never considered this! Yes, the boyfriend is obviously planning on sacrificing her at the next full moon to his Satanic god Lucifer. And he’s signaled this by… buying her paintings of cats, which she loves.

Toomuchtrouble4me · 21/10/2022 12:31

Not to my taste but no, not creepy.

LittleSid · 21/10/2022 12:44

I believe they're Ann Stokes and I would take them in an instant. 😁

LittleSid · 21/10/2022 12:50

Sorry, they are Lisa Parker, but I'd still have them lol

MsBombastic555 · 21/10/2022 13:17

Can I have them? They're beautiful.

annemac101 · 21/10/2022 14:02

Just saw the satanic sign and the witch in mirror after my second look. I'd tell him it's not something you're comfortable with and they make you uneasy. Maybe he only saw the cats and not the other signs. Poor guy.

gamerchick · 21/10/2022 14:06

It's not a fucking satanic sign Hmm are people on a wind up here or just a bit dim?
