Are these pictures creepy ? Shall I ask my boyfriend to remove them

Hi my partner knows I absolutely love cats especially black cats and he bought me these two canvases however I don’t think these cats look very
friendly!

I mean they are lovely pictures but I find them Very creepy
He has put them on the wall next to our bed
l I’m thinking of asking him to donate them somewhere but am I being unreasonable

These are deeply menacing and sinister. The cats will clearly watch you as you sleep and that witch in the mirror is up to no good as well. Get them exorcised and tell the boyfriend they are too Halloweeny.

😂 I think these canvases meet the criteria for worst gift ever, I think this even beats my husbands Christmas gift to me last year which was a bottle of imperial lather 75% extra free hand wash!

Im christian and go to church and have a makeup bag with the cat and the moon on... the two things have NOTHING in common.

Wicca/Pagan is actually interesting (as is all theology in general), do you act 'creeped' out by every religeon other than your own?

I mean if the cat was next to a menorah would you be 'creeped out'?

i do like them but not sure want to sleep next to them and I don’t think my 7 yo likes them much although she loves cats. Xx I’ll put them in a drawer somewhere and gift them to someone who likes this sort of thing

OP - they're not to your taste but clearly popular with other people. Just tell him they're not your thing and show him examples of stuff that is.

I don't think they're creepy, they certainly aren't satanic, and some folk are getting a bit unnecessary over them... but they'd not be my sort of thing either.

as I clearly demonstrated earlier had no idea these were Wicca or pagan just assumed them to be satanic because of the symbol but kind posters on here have educated me that the symbol is not at all satanic so I feel better keeping them just not on my wall x

The one on the left is awful. The proportions of the cat look wrong. It's as if the artist is not got to grips with depth . The head is massive and the legs look wrong.
